Side Story - 9 - I'm What Now?

Cole's Point Of View

I was sitting in the clinic with Sylvester, as he held Tristan in his arms. Tristan had barely slept or eaten in the last 48 hours. Not for lack of trying however, he just couldn't keep anything down, and spent his nights puking.

After we had come here two days ago, Khali said that she wanted to run extensive tests to get the best results. So we had to wait two days.

Sylvester told me what was wrong with Tristan last night, but I could hardly belive it. We had been extremely careful every time, so it seemed a bit unfair to punish Tristan in such a way.

I was hoping that it wasn't true, and that Sylvester was just jumping to conclusions. But when I woke up today, Tristan smelled completely different. I was forced to accept the truth, and the awful reality of our carelessness.

"Well Tristan. I'm finished with all the tests now." Khali said, walking up to us slowly.
