Chapter 24: The Testing for Talent and Compatibility

Sachi slowly adapted to the Dyna family. The following days were little busy as Artag Dyna was getting ready to depart to the mines.

Sachi was given her mother's room as it was insisted by her mother and grandmother. Lori took a different one.

"I see the room is same as how I left it, it brings back memories" reminisced Lori.

Lori showed her family mansion to her daughter along with her friend Jennifer. It was more like a palace rather than mansion.

Also, the elders and others were fascinated by the beasts Sachi and Lori brought with them. Everyone wanted one for themselves.

They were fascinated by their aura and beauty.

Sachi wore a jeans and T-shirt as she remembered she felt comfortable in those while n earth. When she came out to have dinner everyone was surprised to see the clothes she was wearing.

"Shoot, I forgot I'm in a medieval period for a second there" she thought. Then suddenly an idea clicked in her mind.

"Yes, that is feasible. This is my world now. So, let's make changes I like, Lets live a life I like" She concluded her thoughts.

The ladies were more into it. Both the aunts loved the new design.

"How about you give me some rights we can sell in the market and get some profits?" suggested Isabella Amor.

Sachi liked the idea, and she looked at her mother, who nodded. Sachi smiled at her turned to Isabella to discuss the percentage and how to start a business.

Artag was shocked as Sachi talked about business like an experienced businesswoman. Well, Sachi did work as sales lead and then as admin in a manga company. But still it was also a type of business, so she was able to grasp the key points.

"Damn, she really is a genius" he commented.

"Ofcourse, whose daughter do you think she is?" Lori was feeling proud.

A good business plan was made with Sachi and Isabella as partners.

The next day Sachi's grandfather Argon called her to meet at testing grounds. Inorder avoid any unnecessary information leak, he used his influence made the grounds completely empty except for his children and wife.

The first test he conducted was to check the affinity and her talent.

There were two crystals infront of her on a table. One was to check Talent level other to check affinity type.

"Come my dear" her grandfather invited her with all smiles. Sachi walked on to the stage with her mother in tow.

Her grandfather and grandmother stood on the right, while her and his wives stood at the left of the crystals.

"Place your hand on the first one" he instructed. Sachi knew the process already. They had crystals in the Poalm mansion as well and she was tested last time when the Polam family decided to send her to the Rimus Empire to betroth her to Black Noir.

It showed average yellow talent.

Sachi placed her hand thinking it will be same. However, as she placed her hand the glow was very bright and it slowly rose from Grey, Pink, Yellow, Orange, blue, Red.

Sachi was shocked and immediately removed her hand. She felt the color may change again if she still placed it. But unexpectedly the damage happened. The crystal broke.

The whole family present was shocked. The first one to come to his senses was Argon Dyna who laughed loudly like a villain.

"hahaha... wonderful, amazing, highly talented" the oldman was highly excited. Lori and other family members also came to their senses.

"Lori, you have an amazing daughter" her mother congratulated along with her sister-in-laws. Lori was proud and amazed at the same time. Because she knew this was all because of the island. Previously she knew the results of her daughter which she took in the Poalm family as well.

However, the results now are different from the previous one. She concluded that it was all due to the grace of System sama.

Argon wanted to test more so he thought to bring higher level crystal from the Empire to check Sachi's complete potential.

However, Lori convinced him not to test anymore as it may attract the unwanted attention.

"Father please stop, I want my daughter safe. I do not want unwarranted attention to be on her."

Her brother backed Lori's decision. So Sachi's grandfather agreed.

Then as she placed her hand on the second crystal it showed Ice and water affinity. As the crystal froze showing ice aura and then changed to liquid state showing water aura then back to normal crystal.

It also showed her affinity with water and Ice. Water was at blue level and Ice was Red level. Previously she only had water affinity, and it was Average Yellow talent.

But the water talent is showing as blue which means it has increased. According to what she knew about talents are that it is fixed. So, this is a new for Lori, as she never heard of a talent increase. Still, she did not reveal it to her father.

The affinity crystal and talent crystal measure the type of magic an individual has and the talent level.

"Okay, we will enroll her in Milan institute the best in the Empire" Argon Dyna declared.

"First we will polish her with basics so that her foundation is solid" he continued and layed out plan for her future.

Sachi was little stunned at how her grandfather decided her future. She looked towards her mother sighing.

"It's going to be difficult" she thought.

"Father, can you please stop. She is a big girl now; she will decide her future" interjected Lori.

"You rebellious girl, I'm trying to give her a best future?" the old man got angry at Lori's words. It was like throwing cold water.

"I know you want giver her best future. But still, let's ask her opinion and then decide" she replied.

"Okay, please hold on you two, don't argue" Lori's brother tried to stop their argument

However, both turned toward him and shouted at the same time "Don't butt in."

"Whoa!" Artag was taken aback as both father and daughter shouted at the same time.

"They both are same" he lamented.

Then the atmosphere changed unexpectedly and the temperature in the room rose to very high degree it was Sachi's mother she was complete angry. "You both what are you doing infront of my granddaughter, show some dignity. And you little girl show some respect to your brother" She shouted.

Artag became smug as soon as he saw his mother get angry. Argon and Lori suddenly sweated profusely.

Argon suddenly laughed with embarrassment "hahaha, oh dear no need to get angry, we were just discussing we will do as your daughter said, calm down, calm down, your health will be effected."

"Yes mom, me and father were just discussing. Nothing much" she also laughed little frightened. Normally their mother would not get angry, it will be rare. But it will be something they cannot stop and take it if she gets angry.

"Oh! Wow so she has her own style as well. And she is a mage as well? Sachi though amused and curious. This family is really something. Her grandmother was a high-level fire maze.

Then she was tested for weapon specialization. Her result came as compatible with two types of weapons swords and bow & arrow. The other weapons she can train as well, however these two were most compatible.

Sachi actually had a special weapon in her mind which she liked even when she was a child and in her previous life as well. That weapon was rarely used by anyone so not many people will check with it.

It was flying discs called Chakram.

She remembered a TV series where a lady warrior used two discs as her signature weapon and also as she was manager in manga magazine company, she knew a few Manga and anime's where characters used the disks, especially the famous pirate's series.

So, she too liked the throwing discs.
