Xin Yi walked into her coach's office.
"Good morning, Coach," she greeted. Her coach gestured for her to sit in the chair opposite him.
"I heard you got a job. Are you quitting being a martial artist?" he asked.
"No, no. I'm working part-time. My main job is being a martial artist," she explained.
"That's good," the coach said, excited. "I don't want talents like you leaving."
"No, no, I won't," she assured him.
On Guo's rooftop, two helicopters were already waiting.
Xin Yi and Gou Li Qiang entered the first helicopter.
Though Xin Yi still felt it was unreal. 'A helicopter on a house rooftop owned by a person? Wow!' Her brain was going crazy.
Two bodyguards also boarded the next helicopter, even though a dozen bodyguards were already waiting for them.
"Mr. Gou, where are we going?" she asked. When he turned to look at her, Xin Yi remembered the scene last night and looked away, and gulped.
Li Qiang acted like nothing happened and answered her as he used to. "Italy."
"Italy! I've never been there," she said, excited like a kid.
They landed on the top of a building in Calabria, Italy.
They got out of the helicopter and walked to the elevator. The elevator took them down, and when it stopped, they walked out to see the Italian mafia already seated.
The other bodyguards joined them, and they all walked towards the mafia boss.
"Look who we have here, Li Qiang," the mafia boss, who was the same age as his father, said. His bodyguards wore vintage shirts with tattoos on their bodies. They all looked scary, and Xin Yi looked at the men. They also looked at her. She looked away and focused on her boss. The mafia boss's son, who was the same age as Li Qiang, stood beside him.
Li Qiang sat opposite the man, crossed his legs, and let his back rest on the chair. "Yeah, me," he said arrogantly and smiled.
"Your father sure taught you well. I am proud of him," the mafia boss praised his father.
"I trained myself," Li Qiang told him and smiled.
"Ah, I see," the man said and smiled.
"Mr. Lorenzo, thanks for the purchase," Li Qiang thanked him.
The man just smiled.
"I wish my son was just like you. You are the same age, but he is useless," he insulted his son, who gritted his teeth.
Xin Yi looked shocked. 'How can a father say that about his son?' But she quickly changed her expression.
Xin Yi entered the hotel room to find three bodyguards chattering, and her face went wide.
'What am I going to do?' she asked herself.
"Xin Yi, don't just stand there. Come here," one of the bodyguards called her. She forced a smile and dragged her feet to sit beside them.
Beers were on the table. One of the bodyguards passed a beer to her, and she took it. When she was about to drink it, a bodyguard stopped her.
"Aren't you an athlete? Can you drink?" he asked, looking at her, half-drunk.
"Yeah, I can. I break the rules sometimes, haha," she said and drank the beer.
"Guys, did you see Mr. Lorenzo's son? He looks dumb, haha," one of them said, and the others laughed.
"Not to mention our underboss, so smart," one of them praised. Xin Yi raised her eyebrows and drank the beer. A bodyguard noticed this and asked,
"You don't seem to like our underboss?" They all stared at her, waiting for her reply.
"Haha, why wouldn't I?" she laughed. 'Like him, my ass,' she thought.
Muyang walked into Li Qiang's room because he was called.
Li Qiang wore a white shirt with black trousers. He sat and crossed his legs.
"Is everything ready?" he asked.
"Yes, sir," Muyang replied.
"Get Xin Yi. I will be waiting for you downstairs."
"But boss, I can't allow you to go alone," he said.
"Then get him. I will wait here," he said.
Xin Yi and the other bodyguards were still drinking and chatting when a knock was heard.
"Come in," said Xin Yi, who was half-drunk.
"Xin Yi, come. You are called," Muyang said.
"Me?" she asked, pointing at herself.
Who else is named Xin Yi?" he asked.
"Lots of people, billions," she said.
Muyang twisted his lips as he looked at her. He walked forward and dragged her out of the room. The other bodyguards just stared at them, not daring to speak.
"Let go of me," Xin Yi said, forcing her arm from his grip.
Muyang laughed and looked at her. "WHAT! WHAT!" she shouted.
They stood in front of Li Qiang's room and were about to open the door when Li Qiang opened it to come out. Without saying anything, he walked in front of them, and they followed behind.
Reaching their car, Li Qiang sat in the back seat while Xin Yi and Muyang sat in the front. Muyang drove the car to their destination.
Inside the car, Xin Yi looked at the mirror just to see Li Qiang, who seemed to be looking at something on his phone. She smiled, but her smile slowly faded as she remembered something and looked away.
When they reached their destination, they got out of the car. The place was dark, and Muyang turned on the torchlight he brought along. Xin Yi felt scared and moved closer to Muyang as Li Qiang walked confidently in front of them. Reaching a small, old building, Muyang opened the door, and they walked in.
Xin Yi was greeted with the smell of a corpse. She immediately turned around and vomited. Muyang walked to her and passed her a handkerchief.
"Hope you are alright," he said and started to walk away. Xin Yi, seeing this, quickly turned around and ran towards him. She used the handkerchief to cover her nose and asked, "What is this place?"
"We have a torture room in China, so we have one in Italy too," he answered.
"What tort—" She was unable to complete her sentence when she heard a chainsaw and a scream. She ran to the side to see Li Qiang using a chainsaw to amputate someone's leg. The man screamed in pain.
Xin Yi's eyes went wide, looking at the scene in front of her.
