Someone wants to kill Ni Shuang, Yuto Saito shot!

Douyu University was renowned for cultivating internet celebrities.

It was divided into several departments: Broadcasting, Vocal Music, and Camera, among others.

In a classroom for Class 5, third-year students of the Vocal Music Department had just finished a music lesson. The teacher had already left.

"Look! Why is the sky turning blood red?" a female classmate asked, pointing out the window, her face full of confusion.

A male classmate joked, "It's July 7th; maybe it's ghost-walking night."

Another student quickly retorted, "Zhang Kui, stop being a jinx. Don't talk nonsense."

Zhang Kui sneered, "Cowards!"

Suddenly, the blood-red sky was shrouded in a dark mist.

"What's happening? First, the sky was blood red, and now it's covered in black fog."

"I have a bad feeling about this."

"Could it be an energy leak?"

"Maybe from a nuclear power plant?"

"Don't scare us like that! If a nuclear plant leaked, it would be catastrophic."

"Look out! The black mist is coming this way."

As the black fog seeped into the classroom, the students panicked.

"Hold your breath! This fog smells awful."

"Damn, I forgot to bring a mask today. Does anyone have a spare?"

"Smart thinking—I already put mine on. I have extras. Who needs one?"

"Me! You're a lifesaver!"

"Brother Tang, you're the best! Please, give me one."

"Haha, Xiaojie, the way you say that, how could I refuse? Here you go."

"Thanks, Brother Tang. You're the best."

"Okay, Tang Tian, don't ignore your bros just because of a girl."

"Don't blame me, I'm still single, you know."

Liu Jie, who hadn't yet put on her mask, suddenly felt her body twisting in discomfort. Her limbs contorted, and her eyes turned white as the black fog slowly drifted away.

In an instant, Tang Tian found Liu Jie collapsed in his arms.

"Xiaojie, don't mess around. The black mist is gone. Let's meet up later. I've rented a place off-campus," Tang Tian whispered, not realizing the danger.

But as Liu Jie leaned closer, she suddenly bit into his neck, tearing off a chunk of flesh. Tang Tian screamed in pain and horror as he looked into Liu Jie's now terrifying white eyes.

"Ah! Damn it!" Tang Tian cried out, kicking Liu Jie away with all his strength.

The classroom erupted in screams as the female students realized what had happened. Liu Jie, now a zombie, lunged at another student as several classmates fled through the back door.

In the ensuing chaos, Tang Tian's life ebbed away as he bled out on the floor.

"Tang Tian…he's dead?" someone whispered, their voice shaking.

"Liu Jie…she turned into a zombie!"

"It must have been the black fog."

"Are we all going to become zombies too?"

Meanwhile, Ni Shuang, who was sitting by the window, broke into a cold sweat. Her body was tingling as something inside her awakened. She was a stunning girl with a childlike face and flawless skin, now looking vulnerable and pained.

Zhang Kui, noticing Ni Shuang's distress, shouted, "Look! Ni Shuang is going to turn into a zombie too! We need to stop her!"

Ni Shuang's eyes widened in shock, wanting to flee, but the pain immobilized her.

Zhang Kui grabbed a chair, intending to smash it over her head. His eyes were filled with malice. "Ni Shuang, you humiliated me last week when you rejected me. If you won't be mine, you'll die!"

"No, Zhang Kui! She might just have a stomachache!" Natto, a petite girl with delicate features, tried to protect Ni Shuang.

Zhang Kui shoved Natto aside, his voice filled with anger. "Get out of the way! We need to kill her before she turns into a monster."

The rest of the class remained silent, unsure of what to do. A girl who had long envied Ni Shuang's beauty sneered, "I think Zhang Kui is right. If Ni Shuang turns into a zombie like Liu Jie, it's better to stop her now."

Ni Shuang, struggling through the pain, glared at the girl. "Pan Qiao…you…"

Natto, refusing to back down, shielded Ni Shuang again. "Xiao Shuang is still conscious. She won't turn into a zombie!"

Ni Shuang was deeply moved, her eyes welling with tears. Only Natto had the courage to stand by her in this moment of crisis.

"Move!" Zhang Kui growled, shoving Natto away again.

Zhang Kui didn't attack immediately; he wanted to see if he could intimidate Ni Shuang into giving in. He bent down and whispered menacingly, "Ni Shuang, if you agree to be my girlfriend, I'll let you live."

Ni Shuang's lips curled into a defiant smile. "Not a chance!"

"Then die!" Zhang Kui roared, raising the chair high above his head.

Before he could bring it down, Yuto Saito appeared at the door, using his mind power to control the chair. Zhang Kui was stunned as the chair lifted him off the ground, suspending him in midair.

"What's going on? Why can't I move?" Zhang Kui panicked as he realized a powerful force was at play.

Then, the chair dropped him, causing Zhang Kui to crash to the ground, breaking his ankle. "Ah!" he screamed in pain.

Yuto Saito, his expression cold, made the chair hover above Zhang Kui and then smashed it down repeatedly on his head. Once, twice, three times…until Zhang Kui lay motionless, his life extinguished.

The class stared in horror at Yuto Saito, who had just killed Zhang Kui with a mere thought.

"It's him! He's the one controlling the chair!"

"Who is he? And why did he kill Zhang Kui?"

Yuto Saito ignored the fearful whispers, his gaze landing on Pan Qiao, who had spoken out against him. With a wave of his hand, he sent her flying across the room. She hit the ground hard, too terrified to say another word.

Yuto Saito walked over to Ni Shuang and asked gently, "Are you okay?"

"I… I'm fine. Thank you," Ni Shuang replied, her voice trembling as she looked up at him with wide, beautiful eyes.

Yuto Saito, tall and strong, easily scooped her up into his arms. Ni Shuang blushed, stunned by his sudden action, but too weak to protest.

Natto grinned, teasing, "Wow, Xiaoshuang, when did you get such a handsome boyfriend? You've been hiding him from me!"

Ni Shuang, still dazed from the pain, wanted to ask, "Who are you?" But instead, she rested her head against Yuto Saito's chest, finding comfort in his embrace.

Pan Qiao, watching Yuto Saito carry Ni Shuang out of the classroom, felt a surge of jealousy. "Damn it! That Ni Shuang has everything—a handsome and powerful boyfriend. Why can't that be me?"

She hoped she could also get close to Yuto Saito, forgetting entirely how he had just thrown her across the room.

As Yuto Saito walked out, Ni Shuang whispered, "Please, bring Natto with us."

Yuto Saito didn't care much about anyone else, but seeing how much Ni Shuang cared about her friend, he turned back to Natto, who was standing hesitantly by the door.

"Natto, come on," Yuto Saito called.

Natto smiled brightly, hurrying after them. "Coming!"

Ni Shuang, feeling the warmth of Yuto Saito's arms around her, closed her eyes and allowed herself to relax, knowing she was safe—for now.
