Going out into the field

The next morning i could smell the delicious scent of milk which made me unconsciously purr, well i never really thought Tatsumaki would put me to sleep like this. This old loli is annoying.

I fainted last simulation and then woke up right now. "Sis, can you stop grabbing my tail…"

It was very sensitive and also very uncomfortable. She was holding a cup from which that heavenly scent came from. She let go and looked at me with a smirk.

"well, i will" She said with a smile.

"If you look at me like that i'll turn you into a cat" I said threatening her.

She rolled her eyes and gave me the cup. "Drink up we are going to the Hero headquarters, i have a meeting with the other S-Rank heroes "

"We?" i asked skeptical.

I drank my milk feeling the sweetness roll into my tastebuds…it had a slot of sugar. Tatsumaki then smirked. "Yes we,it's probably something important"

After finishing my breakfast i wore my casual clothes, i made sure to make a hole on my trousers cause, yeah the tail.

After that i was floated away by the loli Tornado, as we flew across the city at breakneck speed. Tatsumaki's psychic abilities never failed to impress me, but I was still annoyed at how casually she flung me around like a ragdoll.

"Hey, could you at least give me a warning before you just… yank me into the air?" I shouted over the wind.

Tatsumaki glanced at me with a smirk. "You're still complaining? Shouldn't you be used to this by now?"

I rolled my eyes. "Just because I'm used to it doesn't mean I like it!"

Before long, the massive Hero Association headquarters came into view. It was a towering building, and even from this distance, I could see the bustling activity around it. Tatsumaki lowered us down gracefully at the entrance, where a few other heroes were already waiting.

The moment we landed, I could feel the weight of the stares. Not because I was with the Tornado of Terror, but because of my… unusual appearance.

"Terrible Tornado, that boy looks a lot like you, is that your brother i have heard about" Atomic samurai. The fourth strongest S-Rank.

"Don't mimd me, i never had the decision of coming here" I said with a hiss in my voice.

"Well. ignoring theat you look like a Monster, you don't seem that bad, but you do look weak" He said with a smile on his face.

"Sure, you know, i am actually hood with a sword" I said triumphantly.

"You are?" Tatsumaki.

"Yes i am, i even created a sword technique called Moon Breathing" I am not going to reveal i got it from the demon slayer world.

Atomic Samurai raised an eyebrow, his interest piqued. "Moon Breathing, huh? That's quite the claim. Show me, then."

Tatsumaki rolled her eyes. "We don't have time for this. Atomic, can't you save your sword-obsession for later?"

Atomic Samurai chuckled, ignoring her. "A technique like that deserves to be tested. Let's see if it's more than just words." He pulled out one of his many swords and took a stance, his eyes gleaming with excitement.

I glanced at Tatsumaki, hoping she'd put a stop to it, but she just crossed her arms and floated in mid-air, clearly amused. I don't have a sword, well psychic claws it is.

Atomic Samurai readied himself, I sighed, knowing I couldn't back down now. I didn't have a sword, but I had something better—or at least something that would work. Channeling my psychic energy, I extended my hand, and sharp, translucent claws formed around my fingers, glowing faintly with a pale, ethereal light.

"You're really going to use those?" Tatsumaki scoffed from above, though there was a hint of curiosity in her voice.

Atomic Samurai's eyes narrowed as he observed the claws. "Interesting… Let's see if you can back up that 'Moon Breathing' claim."

I took a deep breath, focusing my energy. "First Form: Dark Moon, Evening Palace." My claws glowed brighter as I slashed through the air, creating a shimmering arc of psychic energy that cut toward Atomic Samurai.

With a fluid motion, he parried the psychic slash, his sword flashing through the air as he effortlessly redirected the attack. "Not bad," he said, grinning, "but you'll need more than that."

I smirked. "That was just the beginning." I dashed forward, moving in a blur, my claws flashing as I aimed several precise strikes at him. Atomic Samurai met each one with perfect timing, his sword clashing against my claws with a satisfying ring.

"You have potential," he said between strikes, "but you're still holding back."

Tatsumaki yawned. "Atomic, don't keep him busy for too long. We have a meeting, remember?"

He grinned, sidestepping my next attack with ease. "I'll make this quick."

Frustration was starting to build. His experience with the sword was overwhelming, and despite my best efforts, he seemed to be playing with me. I couldn't let him win so easily.

"Second Form: Pearl Flower Moongazing," I whispered, gathering more energy. This time, instead of directly attacking, I launched a barrage of spinning crescent-shaped slashes from my claws, surrounding Atomic Samurai from all angles.

He paused for a moment, taking in the sight of the incoming strikes. With a calm expression, he flicked his wrist, his sword moving so fast it almost seemed to disappear. In an instant, he cut through each of my attacks with pinpoint precision.

I stopped, panting slightly as he sheathed his sword. "Impressive," he said, giving me an approving nod. "You've got skill. Refine it, and you might become someone worth dueling seriously."

Before I could respond, Tatsumaki floated down between us. "Alright, that's enough. We're going to be late for the meeting."

Atomic Samurai chuckled, walking past us toward the entrance. "Catch up with me when you've mastered that Moon Breathing of yours. I'd love to see it in its full form."

As he disappeared inside, Tatsumaki glanced at me. "Not bad for a catboy."

I shot her an annoyed look. "You could've helped, you know."

She shrugged. "You're the one who wanted to show off. Now, let's go. We've wasted enough time."

I could have used the flesh scythe…but i don't really feel that would be ideal. As we made our way through the halls, the tension from the fight was replaced by a growing sense of unease. The meeting we were heading to wasn't just a casual gathering—it involved the higher-ups of the Hero Association. They had been acting strange lately, and I couldn't shake the feeling that something big was about to go down.

"I still can't believe you named your style 'Moon Breathing,'" Tatsumaki said, her voice cutting through the silence.

I rolled my eyes. "It's poetic."

"It's pretentious."

"Maybe, but it's powerful."

She smirked, clearly enjoying the banter. "We'll see how far that power takes you. Don't expect to be dueling swordsmen every time."

I knew what she meant. The threats we faced didn't care about honor or duels. Monsters, disasters, and worse—it was a never-ending cycle of danger. But something about my fight with Atomic Samurai reignited a spark of determination in me. I wasn't going to let this power go to waste.

As we reached the entrance to the Hero Association's main meeting room, the massive steel doors slid open with a hiss. Inside, several familiar faces were already gathered around a large table. The atmosphere was heavy, and I could feel the tension even before stepping inside.

Tatsumaki floated to her seat, nonchalant as ever. I took a deep breath and followed her in, my eyes scanning the room.

S-Class heroes filled the space—King, Bang, Genos, and even Child Emperor. They were all here, which meant whatever was going on was serious.

At the head of the table stood Director Sekingar, his usual stern expression more intense than usual. He motioned for us to take our seats before speaking. "Thank you all for coming on such short notice. I'll get straight to the point—we've received intelligence about a new threat, one unlike anything we've faced before."

I exchanged a glance with Tatsumaki, who raised an eyebrow. A new threat? Considering the things we'd dealt with recently, it had to be something catastrophic.

Sekingar tapped a button on the table, and a holographic image flickered to life above it—a monstrous, shadowy figure loomed in the display, its form shifting and distorting as though it was made of pure darkness.

"We're calling it 'Obsidian Calamity.' It appeared two days ago in a remote city and wiped it out in less than an hour. No survivors. No traces of what caused the destruction just darkness and silence."

The room was dead quiet. Even King, usually calm in these situations, looked pale.

"Someone's probably just inside the collosal thing, probably controlling it from the inside, maybe a dragon level" I muttered but it's not my place to say this, i am of course a normal civilian.
