Victor stepped outside into the bright morning sun, his mind still spinning.
The events of the past few days had shaken him to his core—awakening in a new world, one he was all too familiar with but never expected to be a part of.
The Marvel Universe. The very thought made him dizzy.
Walking along the dusty path away from the facility, Victor looked back at the place that had been his temporary home for the past three days.
He had somehow survived the purgatory-like state of the borderland between life and death and emerged into this new reality.
Whatever that place had been, it felt like a distant memory now, fading with every passing moment.
The sound of crunching gravel under his feet grounded him, reminding him that he was no longer trapped in that strange limbo.
He was in the real world now—or at least, as real as a world filled with superheroes, gods, and cosmic threats could be.
And it was 2000—before Tony Stark's fateful journey as Iron Man, before Tony kick off era of superpower.
But he had no time to dwell on what might come. He had to figure out his own situation.
He still didn't know why or how he had ended up in this world. The only thing that was clear was that he had a new life to live, with endless possibilities and dangers lurking around every corner.
As he walked toward the nearby town, he tried to gather his thoughts.
He needed information, a plan, and a place to stay.
The world was about to change in unimaginable ways, and he had to be ready.
---
The town was small, quiet, and unremarkable—just the kind of place Victor could blend into while he figured things out.
As he passed by a small café, his stomach growled, reminding him that he hadn't eaten anything substantial since arriving in this world.
Stepping inside,he check his pockets and find some money in it.
So he ordered a simple breakfast and found a table by the window.
The television mounted on the wall caught his attention, playing a news broadcast.
Nothing out of the ordinary, just the usual local reports. But then, something familiar flashed across the screen—an image of a young Tony Stark, attending some gala event.
Victor's has to gloat his own bad luck that he came to this world.
But He couldn't help but smile slightly. It was surreal seeing Tony Stark—"the" Tony Stark—before he became Iron Man.
Here, he was just a billionaire playboy, still years away from becoming the hero who would help save the universe.
But now that Victor was here, could he somehow influence the future? Could he prepare for the threats he knew were coming?
Before he could delve too deeply into his thoughts, a voice interrupted his thought.
Hey You're new in this town, right?"
Did your family get shifted here..
Victor looked up to see a girl standing by his table, holding a cup of coffee. She looked to be around his age, with short black hair and striking green eyes.
Her clothes were simple, but there was something about her demeanor that made her stand out—confident, self-assured, and slightly mischievous.
"I'm Jenna," she said, offering her hand. "You don't look like you're having a good day.
You look lost."
Victor look her and said.
"I guess you could say that.
"You're not from around here, are you?"
Victor look her for a moment before responding. "No, I'm not. Just traveling with my uncle he is gone to city for some business.
He lied without batting his eyes. "
Jenna leaned back in her chair, taking a sip of her coffee.
"Well, you're in the right place for that. This town may be small, but people tend to come here when they're looking for answers."
Victor frowned slightly, unsure of what she meant. "What kind of answers?"
Jenna smirked. "That depends on what kind of questions you're asking."
Victor studied her for a moment. There was something about her that seemed… different. She wasn't just a normal teenager.
He could tell that much. But he couldn't put his finger on what it was.
"So, what brings you here?" Victor asked, trying to steer the conversation away from himself for a moment.
Jenna shrugged. " I guess". Trying to figure things out. But you…" She looked at him more closely.
"There's something about you that doesn't quite fit. Like you're out of place."
Victor's heart become vigilant. Did she noticed something? He quickly tried to brush off her observation. "I'm just trying to get my bearings, that's all."
Jenna didn't press the issue, but the knowing look in her eyes told Victor she wasn't convinced.
"Well, if you're looking for a place to stay, I can help you out.
I've got a place not far from here. It's small, but it's better than wandering around aimlessly." and i can see you are alone here.
Victor hesitated. He barely knew this girl, and she smart to figure out that he is alone and trusting strangers in this world seemed like a risky move.
But he didn't have many options. Staying in town and risking exposure wasn't a good idea, and Jenna seemed like someone who could handle herself.
"Thanks," Victor said, making up his mind. "I appreciate it."
---
Jenna's apartment was modest but cozy. She didn't say much as they walked, and Victor was grateful for the silence.
His mind was still racing with everything he had to process. Being here, in this world, was a constant reminder that things were about to get crazy—and he had to be ready for it.
As they settled in, Jenna finally broke the silence. "So, what's your story, really? You not gonna say again that you are with your uncle and then just wanders into town without a plan."
Victor considered his words carefully. He couldn't tell her the truth. But he needed someone on his side, and Jenna seemed sharp enough to figure out something was off anyway.
"I got kidnap," he said carefully, testing the waters. "I ended up escaping here by accident. And now I'm trying to figure out what to do next."
Jenna raised an eyebrow but didn't press for more details. "Oh Just be careful. This world has a way of pulling people into things they're not ready for."
Victor's heart raced. Did she know more than she was letting on? Was she aware of the bigger picture, of what this world would become? Or she is precognitive type superpower who can glimpse in future..
Victor mind race he thought many type of theory for her behavior..
He decided to take a risk. "What do you know about… unusual things? Things that don't quite fit the normal world?"
Jenna's eyes flickered with interest. "Depends on what you mean by unusual.
But let's just say, I've seen my share of strange things.
Jenna smirked again, a glint of mischief in her eyes.
As the two settled into their room,
Victor couldn't help but feel that Jenna was going to be an link that will help him settled down in his new life in this new world.
As day pass and night fall victor find his mind at peace
But deep down, Victor knew this was just the beginning.
The Marvel world was about to unfold, and he had to get a back-row seat— so he will not be one who bear the first bear the burnt and can also pick some benefit..
