It moved like a living nightmare, its form shifting and pulsing as if it were alive. The moment it touched the air, a suffocating weight descended, pressing down on Nyra's chest like a vice.

Pain. Sorrow. Anguish.

It wasn't just a feeling; it was an invasion. A tidal wave of despair crashed over her, drowning her in emotions that weren't her own. Her breath hitched, her knees buckled, and tears streamed down her face before she could even comprehend why. Her body trembled, every nerve alight with a raw, primal fear.
