"Take the person back first." Matt swung the short stick in his hand, bent the top of the stick, and wrapped it around the zombie's body, controlling it to avoid the rotting claws from falling off.

"Where are we going?" Kikyo blinked in confusion.

"My apartment," Matt said with a wry smile.

Originally, Matt planned to hide his identity, using Matt the lawyer during the day and Daredevil at night, using this dual identity to get close to Kikyo. Unexpectedly, he was recognized by Kikyo, making his effort to hide his identity futile.

Given the situation, there was no need to hide anymore. It would be much more convenient to take Kikyo to his apartment for interrogation.

Pulling out the cable, Matt held the zombie with one hand and controlled the cable with the other, jumping between high-rise buildings until he returned to his apartment building. He went back to the bedroom through the window, with Kikyo following him in.

"Who are you?" Matt frowned, questioning the identity of the living dead in front of him.

"I-I'm William."

The voice of the living dead trembled, clearly terrified of the Fearless Man from Hell's Kitchen in his red uniform.

William? Matt was slightly stunned upon hearing the name. He felt it was familiar. After a moment, he asked suspiciously, "Are you William Thomas?" William was a repeat offender in Hell's Kitchen, often charged with robbery. Matt had been entrusted with the case and had dealt with him several times.

"Yes, yes, that's me," William nodded frantically. "We are failures exiled by Lord Moria, responsible for catching shadows in remote corners for him."

Moria? Who is this? He created the living dead and took away the shadows of those people? What on earth is Moria planning? Moreover, Matt had previously investigated the victims in the shadow disappearance case and found that almost all of them had contact with the Maggia Gang. Recently, the Maggia Gang blocked a dock, strictly prohibiting outsiders from entering or leaving.

What role did the Maggia play in this? Something seemed off. Matt felt he needed to investigate the next cargo ship arrival to see what was in the dock blocked by the Maggia Gang. Could it be...

Matt's heart sank as he suddenly had a bad feeling.

While Matt was deep in thought, Kikyo suddenly drew her bow and shot a magic-destroying arrow, directly purifying the robber William in front of them.

"What are you doing?" Matt was taken aback by Kikyo's swift action. He hadn't gotten any other useful information from the living dead. How could Kikyo suddenly purify him?

"Someone is coming." Kikyo explained calmly, facing Matt. "The body is not important. What's important is where the shadow is. It's Moria I just mentioned. Only by finding Moria can we find those lost shadows and solve the problem."

Before Kikyo could finish her words, the bedroom door suddenly opened from the outside. A fat figure stood outside the door, staring at the man and woman in the bedroom in amazement, completely stunned.

Fudge rubbed his eyes in disbelief and said in amazement, "Oh, you, you are so bold, how can you act so quickly? It was obviously my turn first. Beauty saving the hero, this kind of plot is mine! Even if you are the Fearless Man from Hell's Kitchen, I still have to tell you that you are cutting in line. You are immoral, do you know that?"

Matt was so embarrassed by Fudge's exaggerated performance that he waved his hands helplessly and said, "Stop acting. Kikyo already knows my true identity."

"Oh~" Fudge drawled, "I didn't expect you two to progress so quickly!"

"Don't talk nonsense, we are innocent," Matt said righteously. "I rented a single room in an apartment building not far ahead. I'll give you the key later. You can pack your things and move in."

"Huh?" Fudge pointed at his nose and shouted, looking like he had seen a ghost. "Are you going to kick me out?"

"That house was originally rented for Kikyo, but she doesn't need it now. But the rent can't be wasted. I can clean up your room and make do with it. Then I can move my room out to Kikyo."

Matt's words were well considered. On one hand, he was not sure whether Kikyo had any connection with Moria. After all, he hadn't finished the interrogation yet, but Kikyo was already anxiously purifying William. Although she acted because Fudge suddenly broke in, Matt thought it was better to be cautious, as Kikyo was still under his observation period. On the other hand, considering Kikyo's lack of common sense about modern life, it would be inconvenient for her to live alone. The best outcome was to move in together. Kikyo knew Daredevil's true identity, so Matt didn't need to cover up anything, and he could monitor Kikyo's actions at all times. It was perfect.

"…" Matt, you have been my good friend for many years, and now you want to drive me away after just one night. You have changed!

Fudge was confused.

"It's decided. Go pack your things, and I'll give you the key later." After saying this, Matt ruthlessly closed the bedroom door in front of Fudge.

"Bah, you have no humanity when you have the opposite sex!" Fudge went back to his room to pack his things, feeling aggrieved.

"That…" In the room, Matt had just decided to let Kikyo move into his home without asking for her consent. Facing Miss Miko, he felt a little embarrassed. "I just think it's unsafe for you to live alone, so…"

"Fine." Kikyo didn't think too much about it and shook her head slowly. She thought Matt might have done this because he wanted to investigate the living dead. This was as it should be.

"It's almost morning. Let's go eat together later. I heard a new restaurant opened in Hell's Kitchen recently. It tastes great," Matt invited.

"Good," Kikyo agreed indifferently.

"Huh?" Suddenly, a look of confusion and surprise appeared on Kikyo's face.

"What's wrong?" Matt could tell something was wrong with Kikyo's tone.

"Nothing, I just lost a few dead soul bugs."

In the big jeep, Noah looked at the photo in front of him and felt a sharp toothache. In the photo, two beauties were smiling brightly, surrounded by blooming flowers that made them even more beautiful.

[Leo: The photo of Esdeath and I looks great, right? We just arrived in Florence, Italy. The environment here is nice. How are things going over there?]

[Noah: Recently, Moria and Valon have been quite busy. Moria is raising a large army of zombies, and Valon seems to be planning to kidnap that playboy. In short, they are making quite a commotion.]

[Leo: Don't worry about them, just remember your mission!]

[Leo: The underworld is in ruins now, and I need a ferryman to help me collect more souls.]

[Leo: I leave that old hunter to you. No matter what method you use, bring him over to our side.]

[Noah: This old man is stubborn and wants to go back to the forest to live in seclusion. He doesn't care about me at all!]

[Leo: I don't care about you, just figure out a solution yourself!]

[Leo: Leave Esdeath to me, and the old hunter to you. If you dare to mess up, I will beat you to death!]

[Leo: Okay, that's it. I'm going shopping now. If you have any questions, call me.]

[Noah: ???]
