Chapter 113: Training Beneath the Waterfall

At dawn, the rain had ceased. The morning sun pierced through the clouds, but the mountain air remained icy.

The chirping of birds echoed through the valleys, occasionally accompanied by the cries of monkeys and roars of wild beasts. A thick white mist rose, shrouding the mountain range.

Aizeen emerged from a narrow crevice in the rocky walls. The air after the rain was filled with the fresh scent of grass mingled with earth. A centipede, about the length of a palm, crawled down the wall and disappeared into another crack.

After a night of intense cultivation, Aizen had finally refined the last traces of foreign inner energy in his body. Now, his inner power was entirely his own, fluid and responsive, though not yet perfectly pure. Further tempering was required.
