Chapter 155: A Member of the Blood Shadow Fortress
Never give your enemy a chance to strike first.
Because until they make their move, you'll never know the methods they will employ.
Aizen would never give his enemy such an opportunity.
So he struck first.
Before the ox cart driver could make a move—when the killing intent had just barely surfaced—Aizen acted decisively.

He didn't hear the faintest sound, nor sense any danger.

Before he could turn his head, there was a sharp crack—the sound of his own neck breaking.
That sound was familiar to him; he had crushed the necks of others in the same way before.
But this was the first time he heard the sound of his own neck being shattered.
