ANDY
"Andy, come pick me up from my house right now!"
That was the text from my amazing best friend, Kate, so I hurriedly got ready and went since her place was nearby.
When I arrived, I found her standing beside her car with a frown on her face. I quickly approached her, but as soon as I got near, she yelled at me. Unbelievable.
"Get in the car, Andy. You're driving!" she shouted, throwing the keys at me and entering the car first.
This girl is something else—she's making me her driver.
While driving, I called Kate.
"Kate, please don't be mad at me. Can you at least talk to me?" I pleaded, but she kept silent, staring out the window.
After a few moments, she still didn't say a word or even glance at me. I didn't even realize we'd already arrived at Maximillian University.
She got out of the car quickly, and I rushed to catch up with her. Before she could walk too far away, I grabbed her arm, making her stop. Finally, she turned to face me, but instead of softening, her frown deepened, and she yelled at me again.
"Andy, let go of me! You're wasting my time!" she snapped, her voice so loud I could feel her spit hit my face.
"Kate, talk to me, please? Don't shout at me. Did I do something wrong? Tell me," I practically begged her.
"Nah, leave me alone. I'm not in the mood," she said curtly.
"Come on, Kate. Let's make up, please? I promise I'll do whatever you want, as long as we're okay," I pleaded with her.
Surprisingly, her frowning face suddenly lit up with a sweet smile. I hoped that meant things were getting better.
"Are you sure, Andy? You'll really do everything I want?" Her tone had shifted—it sounded almost seductive.
"Yes, Kate, I promise," I replied happily.
I was startled when she suddenly came closer, wrapping her arms around my neck.
"Okay then, Andy. You're sleeping over at my place tonight. Don't worry, I'll take care of you," she whispered, biting my ear. As if that wasn't enough, she licked it, trailing downward.
I froze at what she did.
A moment later, she pulled away, kissed me on the cheek, and we walked together to our respective classes. I'm taking Business Administration, and so is Kate, but we're in different sections. She's in Section A, and I'm in Section B.
I listened to the class and took notes.
Not long after, class ended. My only friend, Lucy, nudged me.
"Drew, did you take notes earlier? Can I borrow them for a bit?" she asked, and I handed her my notebook.
I was on my phone while waiting for our next professor. Since Lucy was busy, I had no one to talk to. After a while, someone informed us that the professor wasn't coming because they had something to attend to. Good thing. Lucy finished copying the notes, so we just chatted for a while.
"Luce, do we have badminton practice later?"
"No, Drew, but there's an attendance. Let's go together later. By the way, how are things with you and Kate?"
"Well, she yelled at me earlier, but we're okay now. You know how she is."
I know my best friend well. Rule number one when you're with her—never, ever be late.
"Goodness, Drew, you're so patient with Kate. It's like you're her boyfriend. Is she being inappropriate with you again?" Lucy asked, rapid-firing her words.
"Not really. Just let her be, Luce. I'm used to her antics."
"Okay, if you say so. But later, I bet I'll see a hickey on your neck or bite marks on your arm again," she reminded me.
"Hey, Luce, don't be so loud. Someone might hear you. I can't help it; she does these things out of nowhere," I scolded her, looking around nervously.
"Whatever, Drew. I won't be surprised if you're not a virgin anymore," she teased. I just ignored her.
A few moments later, the bell rang. Finally, it was lunch break, so I hurried off because of Kate. I didn't want to get in trouble with her again.
Lucy already knew what I was like when it came to Kate, so she let me go. She said she understood, and usually, only Hazel was left to hang out with her.
I rushed to the canteen, hoping to find Kate, and luckily, I spotted her right away.
She looked at me with one eyebrow raised. That was the signal.
I hurriedly ordered her favorite food: large fries, two orders of shawarma rice, her favorite large serving of ramen noodles, a large milk tea, and some water.
After ordering, I brought the food to her table. I noticed her face light up with a wide smile.
I didn't realize she had company—three girls, probably her friends. They were all smiling at me.
"Kate, do you want anything else? I can get more," I asked her while she was already digging in.
"No need, Andy. Sit here beside me. Let's share. Thank you so much, you really love me," she said in a teasing tone.
"Wow, Kate, that's sweet. We're getting jealous just watching you two. Introduce us to your girlfriend—oops, I mean best friend," one of the girls chimed in.
"Shut up, Skye. She doesn't need to know who you are," Kate replied, rolling her eyes at Skye.
"By the way, I'm Claire Ledesma. That's Skye and Alice," the girl across from me introduced herself. Skye was sitting across from Kate, and Alice was at the end of the table.
"I'm Andrew Torregozon, but just call me Drew."
"Nice to meet you, Andy!" they all greeted me happily, but the girl beside me suddenly threw a tantrum.
"Hey bitches, I'm the only one allowed to call her Andy!" Kate yelled at her friends.
"Okay, okay, Kate. No need to get all territorial. She's all yours," Alice teased her.
"I know, right," Kate said with another eye roll. She's going to end up cross-eyed with all that rolling.
We all ate together. Kate kept feeding me, and we alternated bites, making it seem like we were sharing an indirect kiss. Her friends kept sneaking glances and teasing us.
At one point, Kate started stroking my thigh, and I immediately froze in my seat. The culprit? She was grinning, clearly enjoying what she was doing to me.
Fudge, Kate, not here, this is embarrassing.
She moved her hand even higher, causing me to knock the table. Our companions looked over.
"Drew, are you okay? Why are you turning red?" Skye asked me.
"Ah-Ahh, I-I'm fine," I stammered, unable to make eye contact, trying to control my breathing because of what Kate was doing.
But Kate kept going. Her hand was getting dangerously close, and just when she was about to…
The bell rang, signaling the end of the lunch break.
That was close.
We didn't have classes the whole afternoon because the professors were busy. Lucy and I just chatted about random things.
She told me about their neighbor, a witch who rides a dustpan, and how she saw a "manananggal" (a mythical creature) at noon. She also mentioned that there's a person with a speech impediment in their area who speaks clearly.
We went home early, and I rushed to the parking lot like the Flash.
Thankfully, she wasn't there yet. But I was startled when someone spoke. I turned around—it was Kate, already sitting inside, impatiently waiting.
I hurried and we headed to her place. When we arrived, I quickly got out of the car to open the door for her.
She smiled at me and kissed me on the cheek.
I followed her inside and greeted their housemaid, Manang Nora. She knew me well, so I felt at home.
"Mom and Dad aren't here. They're on a business trip, so I get you all to myself tonight," Kate said with a grin.
She went up to her room while I chatted with Manang.
"Andy, get up here! Hurry up. I hate waiting!" Kate yelled from upstairs. Typical.
I excused myself from Manang and quickly went up to Kate's room.
I knocked, but no one answered, so I turned the doorknob. Before I could fully enter, Kate roughly pulled me in and pushed me against the wall.
She whispered in my ear, her knee pressed between my legs.
"Andy, take a quick shower. I'll wait for you in my bed," she whispered seductively, sending shivers down my spine. She licked my cheek before letting me go.
I quickly took a shower, and my clothes were already laid out for me to wear.
After five minutes, I was done and went straight to her bed. I found her applying lotion.
I couldn't help but stare at her smooth legs. I swallowed involuntarily.
"Enjoying the view, Andy?" she teased, snapping me out of it.
"H-huh?" I stammered, avoiding her gaze.
Suddenly, she pulled me roughly, making me fall on top of her.
Damn, my shirt was so thin I could feel her body—especially her stomach.
She just smirked at me.
"Why are you blushing, Andy? We're not starting yet," she said teasingly as she stroked my back and cheek.
I quickly moved off of her and calmed myself down for a moment. I just turned on her flat-screen TV.
"Let's just watch a movie, Kate," I told her, and I chose a horror movie.
Before I could sit down, she pulled me into her lap. Now, she was back-hugging me and tightened her grip around me.
"K-Kate, w-wait. I-I can't b-breathe," I whispered softly.
"Shh, Andy. Don't struggle, you're mine tonight," she whispered seductively in my ear.
I was holding my breath now, and my heart was racing. I closed my eyes for a moment and then opened them again.
"K-Kate, let's h-have dinner first, or maybe we can just w-watch. Aren't you hungry?" I asked, struggling to speak, but she only tightened her hug.
"I'm really, really hungry, Andy, but it's something else I want to eat. Let's just stay here," she said, and I heard her chuckle softly.
Oh my gosh, this girl's being naughty again. Whatever.
I didn't say anything and just watched the movie. I was more scared of the person with me than the movie itself.
In the middle of the movie, I suddenly felt Kate grab my chin to tilt my head slightly.
Now my neck was fully exposed, and I could feel her breath on it. My hairs stood on end, and I couldn't move.
I tried to focus on the movie, but I failed when Kate started licking my neck and slid her hand inside my shirt.
I tried to hold back a moan, worried that someone might hear us, but she became even more aggressive.
"Andy, don't hold yourself back. Let it out. I want to hear it," she whispered to me and continued kissing my neck.
"Ahhh K-Kate, s-stop p-please," I pleaded, but she didn't listen.
I ended up gripping her because I couldn't control myself anymore. I was getting hot. I gave in to what she was doing.
What was supposed to be a simple overnight stay turned into punishment. Punishment from my naughty best friend.
