Just Like Old Times

Lefn stood at the edge of the cliff, staring into the vast darkness of the Dark Continent below. Her eyes burned with determination. Without hesitation, she jumped down, the wind whipping past her as she muttered, "Fine. I'll train by myself."

Meanwhile, Luca wandered through the village, asking the villagers if they had seen Lefn. His worry grew with each unanswered question. Two kids, playing nearby, overheard Luca's questions and ran up to him.

"I saw Lefn leaving the village!" one of the kids exclaimed excitedly.

Luca immediately crouched down to meet the boy's eye level. "Which way did she go? Exactly?"

The kid pointed. "That way, toward the Dark Continent."

Luca's stomach dropped. "Okay, thanks, kid." He patted the boy's head and took off.

Luca found Tsumugi shortly after, his expression serious. "I think Lefn went into the Dark Continent."

Tsumugi blinked in shock. "Why would she do that?"
