Now let's get to the real memory that Victor recalled. 

At one of Victor and Valery's meals, he looked at Valery as a question arose in his mind. It had been a while and he was getting more and more at ease talking to each other especially when there are only the three of them in the room. He, Adelaide and Valery, when it was just the three of them he could relax and talk without much formality. Something he didn't allow himself when all the important vampires were gathered together. 

"It doesn't bother you to drink blood being near me?"
