"He has become much smarter after putting him to transcribe many classical and science books," Victor replied, happy with his accomplishment. 

After interacting with James he learned that he did not have a good upbringing and that his mother spoiled him to the point of being locked in a bubble where he could not go outside even to get the sun. James doesn't have any mental problems or disabilities, he just didn't have the means or the opportunities to develop his intellect. 

So with the help of Jim who was going to school he was able to get James to go to the library more often so he could learn more and more and even his vocabulary has changed a little. He no longer spoke simple sentences that resembled those of a 7 year old, now he seemed to be speaking more and more in keeping with his age. 

But there was still progress to be made, maybe now he was much better than yesterday but not good enough for how he should be, in time James could be an intellectual.
