Supporting the vampires

Suddenly they saw the ground rise up in front of them and a centipede not as big as the one that attacked Valery but not as small as the one that attacked A. It was about 20 meters away from them and getting closer. 

Valery did not hesitate and attacked this centipede that was close to them as they flew over the wall and flew straight into the wall this time without worrying about the centipede coming after them. 

The centipede was slowed by Valery's attack, but did not receive any damage because it dodged it in time. 

When they reached a distance of 40 meters from the wall the wax centipede that was chasing them stopped, the centipede's eyes looked at the wall and then back at Valery and his group before turning back. 

Valery sensed through her echolocation that the centipede stopped and backed away. With so much sound around it was not difficult for her to see. As long as the sound reached Valery's ears nothing could be hidden from her.
