Ch.104 Ba-La-La Energy, Summon Little Spider!

Seeing that infuriating Spider-Man being so calm, Bucky was initially taken aback.

Could this guy possibly know the password to deactivate the self-destruct program?

The next second, he came to his senses, a sneer forming on his face.

"You sly bastard, the third option can only be your final death this time—no resurrection ever again."

He waved his hand, and a swarm of cyborgs charged toward Charlie and the others.

"I should never have come with you, pajamas boy."

Tony's chest reactor glowed brightly, unleashing high-temperature beams at full power, with the crimson energy sweeping across the front and cutting the cyborgs in half.

Without much to say, Harry rode his glider and bombarded the enemies with pumpkin bombs.

Boom, boom, boom!!

Chaos ensued. Carter threw her shield to repel the cyborgs, then retreated to Charlie's side.

Seeing Charlie's hands moving through a series of intricate gestures as if performing some ancient, mysterious ritual, Carter became curious.

"Is this your so-called third option?" she asked.

Charlie's expression remained calm. "Yes, guard this place—don't let them interrupt me."

"How long do you need?" Carter wanted a definite time frame.

"One minute."

"No problem."

Without further questions, Carter rallied the agents around Charlie.

This guy might have gotten some miraculous reward after winning the resurrection match—something that could help them out of their current predicament.

That's what Carter thought, so she chose to trust Charlie.

Charlie, meanwhile, focused on the red-and-blue machine in the underground bunker. As his hands completed their gestures, his eyes turned red and blue.

Perfect summoning materials delivered right to him—fantastic!

Buzz~

In an instant, a huge spider totem lit up beneath his feet, a dazzling magic circle enveloping both him and the red-and-blue machine.

"What is that?"

The sudden event stunned everyone.

Bucky's expression changed dramatically. He tried to urge the cyborgs to attack frantically, but an arrow shot out of the darkness and struck him in the chest.

Pfft!

"Aagh!!"

Bucky screamed as he fell from the metal platform, pain driving him to madness.

"Attack those tubes!!" he howled.

Boom!!

Tony saw the cyborgs' actions, and in the next moment, he commanded his Mark suit to rise, the reactor in his chest glowing bright. Crimson lasers swept across, cutting down the cyborgs attempting to attack the tubes.

At the same time, the magic circle shimmered, as though whispers of an ancient god filled the underground bunker.

"With the power of the Spider Totem, I summon the charming and adorable little spider that dwells in the web of fate—appear!!"

Buzz!

With Charlie's shout, the red-and-blue machine spun rapidly within the magic circle. The cosmic web appeared from the void, with its hanging threads connecting Charlie and the machine.

The transformation of the magic circle made everyone's faces change.

"What is this, magic?"

"Oh my God, a Spider-Man who knows magic!"

"What's going to happen next? I can't wait!"

"I bet he's trying to teleport the machine somewhere else."

Amid the exclamations, a mysterious aura spread from the cosmic web, its ancient and powerful essence making everyone freeze in place.

"Damn it, why, why is this happening!!" Bucky roared in anger.

Seeing this, Charlie looked expectantly at the magic circle in front of him.

With effects like these, the summoned spider had to be something terrifying, right?

It couldn't just be all flash with no substance, could it?

The whispers of the ancient god soon ended, and the red-and-blue machine shone brightly beneath the cosmic web.

Buzz!!

The dazzling light quickly overwhelmed everyone's vision, then faded in an instant.

The underground bunker returned to darkness, with the massive red-and-blue machine gone, along with the tubes connected to the Spider-Men.

"What happened?"

"Our bodies..."

Inside the cages, the drained Spider-Men gradually regained some strength now that the machine had stopped extracting their energy.

Seeing this, Carter signaled the agents to go and release them.

But Clone Bucky still struggled in his final moments.

"Hahaha, Spider-Man, you might not die, but they will! They'll be my and Steve's grave offerings!!"

Bucky laughed maniacally as he suddenly took a glass bottle from his waist, pouring its contents—countless mutated spiders—into his mouth.

"What!!"

Carter and the others looked grim.

Although they didn't know why he was doing it, it couldn't be good.

And indeed, after swallowing the mutated spiders, Bucky's body mutated and expanded, growing black fur and spines that glowed with a cold light. His limbs twisted unnaturally, his evil, sinister presence making everyone feel a visceral disgust.

Since Bucky didn't swallow just one mutated spider, he transformed entirely into a giant spider the size of a bus.

On the monstrous spider's head, Bucky's twisted face grinned with madness.

"Hahaha, die!!"

He raised one of his spider legs, and the remaining cyborgs surged forward once again.

"Kill them!!"

Boom!!

Energy pulses exploded among the crowd. In the next second, Tony's feet flickered with flames, his form staggering.

"Sir, energy levels are at 15%."

"That's really bad news."

Tony landed, Harry's pumpkin bombs also exhausted, and Barton held only three arrows left in his quiver.

These were their last weapons for wide-area attacks.

The electromagnetic guns in Natasha's and the agents' hands couldn't handle the large number of cyborgs.

Creak, creak, creak~

With the cyborgs swarming around it, the massive spider monster quickly approached.

Carter turned and saw Charlie's strange expression, feeling an ominous sense of foreboding.

"Where's your magic?"

"I don't know," Charlie shrugged.

Carter: "..."

She sighed, "This is the first time you haven't made me feel safe."

As she spoke, Bucky suddenly cried out in surprise.

"What is this?"

At that moment, Bucky paused, noticing a palm-sized red-and-blue web that had appeared on his abdomen.

The web emitted a dazzling light before flashing violently.

Buzz-

Boom!!

Suddenly, the web exploded, and surges of magical energy enveloped Bucky's spider body, sweeping away the surrounding cyborgs.

"Who did that!!"

Amid the glowing energy, Bucky roared in fury.

Thwip!

Another web shot from the darkness, landing on Bucky's head.

Boom!!

The magical energy exploded again, the dark fur and spines on the spider monster's body rapidly falling away under the assault.

"Aaagh!! Damn it, come out and face me!!"

The attacks weren't enough to cause Bucky serious harm, but they drove him to a maddening frustration.

"There it is!"

Suddenly, Charlie's eyes narrowed, spotting a flash of red-and-blue in the darkness.

"Here it comes."

A smile spread across his face.

Reaching out, a faint chittering sound came from the darkness.

Chitter-chitter-chitter-

Whoosh~

From the stone wall, a tiny figure leaped out of the darkness and landed gently in Charlie's hand.

"Is that... a spider?"

"A metal spider?"

Carter and the others watched in curiosity. The palm-sized spider was red-and-blue, with a metallic sheen but no exposed mechanical components.

Most strikingly, unlike a regular spider with eight eyes, this little spider had two marble-sized black gem-like eyes, giving it an odd, somewhat cute appearance.

Its mouthparts weren't grotesque either—two small white fangs peeked out, and as it blinked, it looked quite endearing.

Charlie, however, fell silent.

Sure enough, it was all flash and little substance.

Although he wasn't fully satisfied, he still reached out and petted the tiny spider's head.

"Haha, well, it has ranged attacks. I'm satisfied," he muttered, trying to console himself.

Receiving Charlie's affirmation, the little spider withdrew its threatening gaze, nestling into his palm and closing its eyes in enjoyment.

"Wow, what an adorable little spider."

Harry reached out to play with it, but the little spider snarled and scared him off.

"Not a friendly spider," Harry said, awkwardly withdrawing his hand.

Seeing this, Bucky let out a sigh of relief.

He had thought it was some terrifying creature, but it was just a small, useless one.

"Hmph, adorable, yes—adorably dead!"

Sneering, Bucky turned and shot out webs from his abdomen, a massive web descending over the group.

Chitter-chitter!

Facing the incoming web, the little spider's eyes glowed faintly, its abdomen contracting before launching webs of its own—red-and-blue.

Thwip-thwip-thwip~

Boom!!

Red-and-blue webs exploded above the group, shredding Bucky's giant web.

Chitter-chitter-chitter~

The next moment, the little spider scuttled up Charlie's head, acting like a machine gun, firing webs continuously at Bucky.

Thwip-thwip-thwip

Boom, boom, boom!!

Instantly, brilliant magical energy enveloped Bucky. Carter and the others seized the opportunity to launch their final offensive against the cyborgs.

Meanwhile, Charlie, having successfully summoned the little spider, wasted no time.

Buzz~

As his eyes turned red, the red-and-blue nanometal on his suit turned black.

Thwip-thwip-thwip-

His figure darted through the cyborg horde, leaving behind glistening webs that sliced through their bodies, the blood-red glow in Charlie's eyes intensifying.

The messages before him kept changing.

[Elimination Points +3]

[Elimination Points +3]

Each time a cyborg was killed, his killing value increased by 3 points.

The increase in killing value depended on the target's strength. Against ordinary thugs, the maximum increase would be just 1 point.

Above his head, the little spider had stopped firing webs—it seemed a bit tired after shooting so many.

It wasn't closing its eyes to rest, though—it seemed to be waiting for something.

"Spider-Man, die!!!"

Suddenly, the massive spider monster roared among the crowd, its shadow falling over them. Charlie shot into the air using a web slingshot.

Boom!!

Like a black cannonball, he struck Bucky's abdomen, but the result was Charlie being crushed by the massive figure.

"Hahaha, is this all you've got?"

Bucky crashed to the ground, his grotesque spider legs stabbing furiously, trying to rip Charlie apart.

Thwip-thwip-thwip

Rolling to dodge the spider legs, Charlie noticed how each sharp appendage left a wrist-thick hole in the ground, making him cautious.

Buzz!

Suddenly, the black spider-arms extending from Charlie's back flashed and pierced through Bucky's abdomen.

Pfft!!

Whoosh~~

Immediately, a swarm of mutated spiders spewed from the hole in Bucky's abdomen, the grotesque sight making Charlie shiver.

"I hate spiders!!"

Charlie slid out of Bucky's range, patting the little spider on his head.

"Except you."

Chitter-chitter.

The little spider withdrew its angry glare.

Meanwhile, the sudden swarm of mutated spiders spread rapidly, consuming the cyborgs along the way. Charlie's killing value was still below fifty.

Seems there's no chance now.

Charlie felt disappointed.

Quickly, the swarm of spiders forced Carter and the others to regroup around Charlie.

"There are too many spiders—the suit's energy is low. This time, we might really be done for." Tony removed his helmet, looking resigned.

Harry looked equally hopeless. "If I make it out alive, I'm going to develop a device to carry more pumpkin bombs."

Barton nodded. "I'm going to get a bigger quiver."

"You won't get the chance."

With all the cyborgs consumed, Bucky's body seemed to grow even larger.

He looked down at them, his gaze finally settling on Charlie.

"By eating you, I can still stop you from resurrecting again. I don't believe—"

Halfway through, Bucky looked crazed.

"No whispering!!" he roared.

"Huh? Can't we?" Charlie looked at the little spider on his shoulder. "He's mad."

Chitter-chitter.

The little spider glared at Bucky before leaping onto Charlie's hand.

Chomp~

It bit into Charlie's hand, and glowing red-and-blue web patterns appeared all over him.

Buzz!

Instantly, the glowing red-and-blue patterns spread from his hand, covering his entire body. The nanometal suit's webbing glowed brilliantly.

The blood-red in his eyes was replaced by the magical glow, mysterious power flowing through him as the spider totem on his chest began to shine.

"What is that?"

In astonishment, everyone watched as the little spider completely transformed into red-and-blue magical light, covering the nanometal suit, turning the black suit back into its red-and-blue form, with the glowing spider totem fixed firmly on Charlie's chest.

Boom!!

Before anyone could react, Charlie charged forward.

"Friendly Neighborhood Meteor Punch!"

Boom!!

A fist, radiating magical energy, struck the ground, the brilliant energy spreading out, disintegrating the mutated spiders along its path.

"What!!"

Bucky panicked, hurriedly shooting webs to envelop Charlie.

Thwip~~

Whoosh!

Charlie shot out his web, and the spider totem glowed in the void before exploding.

Boom!!

The massive web dissolved in the explosion, and the next thing they saw was the red-and-blue figure launching from a slingshot of webs.

"Friendly Neighborhood Rising Punch!"

Boom!

Charlie's fist, wrapped in magical energy, slammed into Bucky's abdomen, with the spider totem glowing once more.

"No!!"

Bucky's face filled with horror, realizing the terrifying energy brewing in his abdomen.

Indeed, with the spider totem flashing, an explosion of magical energy brutally ripped apart Bucky's spider body.

Whoosh~

An endless swarm of mutated spiders emerged, only to be dissolved into revolting goo under the onslaught of magical energy.

Charlie then moved swiftly through the battlefield, surrounding the remaining mutated spiders with glowing webs.

"Friendly Neighborhood—I can't think of anything."

Boom~

The ground trembled slightly as Charlie leaped into the webbed area, the spider totem beneath his feet releasing a dazzling red-and-blue glow, completely eradicating the remaining mutated spiders.

And once again, it was the signature Widow's landing pose.
