Chapter 63

That night, neither Avalor nor I could sleep following the unfortunate event of the night. Avalor replayed our  argument in his mind, regretting the harsh words he had spoken. He had scared me, pushed me away and been so unfair and inconsiderate. He knew he had to make things right.

Meanwhile, back in my room, I tossed and turned with my mind racing. I also knew that I had been too harsh, too judgmental.

I had totally  forgotten that Avalor was also under immense pressure, facing a threat that could destroy our world, having to make a tough decision of disowning his own flesh and blood knowing fully well that he is only human and that he still yearned for his only brother..

I had unknowingly let my fear and anger cloud her judgment and that also fueled the fire of arguments.
