Noise

Footsteps echo throughout the empty lobby. It seemed as they were the only ones the hotel had been reserved for. The woman's heels hit the floor confidently as she headed towards the counter while her family sat on the couch present there. The elegance in her clothes did not fail to make the young girl admire. A dark green gown, black heels and stockings and a wide hat with gloves. She dresses as if she still lives in the past but it doesn't look outdated at all.

Woah.. She's.. so Cool... But why is this place so empty isn't it supposed to be full if the place looks like a freaking castle? And how come have I never seen this building in those books I read at night? Fascinating... Fascinating indeed.

"We have a reservation."

"Please give us a minute mam"

The woman sighed at the service finding it poor.

"Um..was this place built recently?"

"You mean this hotel?"

"yeah"

"Does it look new to you?"

"Not at all.."

"Then why ask"

Akena zipped her mouth, embarrassed as she realized how stupid of a question she had asked. But she still wondered.. How could this place be off the radar for so long..?

"Sorry for the inconvenience madam here you go!" Keys jingle

Woah that's a whole lot of keys well I guess we'll all be getting different rooms. I just want to sleep at this point. Let's walk up early and tour around the place .I feel like I could find some hidden treasure since this place has not been discovered yet.

"Here you go child", she hands over one of the keys to Akena.

"Thanks!"

"And remember to behave. If I see you out of your room at night, your actions won't go unpunished."

Akena gulped at the fair warning even though she no intent to defy her new mother anytime soon.

"Yes.. Mam"

"Now shoo", she flailed her hand signaling the dismiss of her.

Do.. I look like a bird? The hell?? Even Maria didn't call me and send me away like that.

She turns around and heads to look for her room upstairs.

Is it her arrogance? Or was the shoo a sign of condescension??? I'm so tired to be thinking about anything right now and yet my brain can't catch a break.

Inserts key and the door unlocks.

What. In. The. Heavens.is.this place??!!! Woah!

Akena doesn't waste any time and rushes to jump on the fluffy bed, giggling with excitement and joy. The room was too big for a single person. It had everything anyone would need to live alone in a room, without moving for 5 days at the very least. It was almost as if somethings had been added in advance to prevent her form leaving the room. A refrigerator, a nice balcony, luxurious bathroom and a closet filled with chocolates and candies. Instant food filled another space. The only thing that needed to enter the room now was a freshly cooked and hot dinner. A bit of hesitation was clear in her action when she about to pick the room service phone up to order.

Can I spend their money... So carelessly? But then again I'm just ordering dinner aren't I? And they seem rich... Wait should I just go and ask her my options?? But didn't she forbid me to leave the room kinda?? I wonder what that was about.. Anyways let's just order whatever we want.. We can just out the blame on her.

Ding ding "Hello room service? Can I have..little bit of everything on the menu?"

"Okay thanks"

I'm not one to waste food.. I have the biggest appetite plus I traveled, not my fault I'm hungry. Should I take a bath in the meantime..?

Akena hums her way into the bathroom, slipping and sliding off her clothes and enters the bathtub, she filled the water in. The Luke warn water, scented with vanilla and the tiredness causes her mind to get hazy.The bathroom seemed spacious and extraordinary but the thing Akena was bothered by was the number of mirrors in the space. A mirror placed right in front of her face as she laid in the tub. She chose the ignore the eeriness gouging out of the same mirror. She closed her eyes taking in the calmness around her, only the soft sound of water droplets entering her ears. She smiled. Feeling her life slowly recover she couldn't hold back from smiling.

This is true pleasure.. No nuns to bother you to come out sooner and no parents fighting and hitting each other.. Pure bliss is when I am left with myself and I do not think of anything else other than what I see. And currently I see nothing. Well of course because my eyes are closed heh. Inhales
