Haruto stood still, gazing at the colorful display of ekiben at the bustling train station. The shelves were filled with neatly packed bento boxes, each more enticing than the last.
He and Haruka were preparing to board the shinkansen to Kyoto — a journey that would take about three hours.
But truthfully, Haruto wasn't excited about the trip. He was here because things had grown awkward between him and Haruka ever since her sudden confession.
She'd been true to her word. Her feelings were out in the open now, and she acted as though they were already a couple.
