Lilith watched as he walked toward the door, his tall figure radiating authority even in casual clothes. When he opened it, a man dressed in black stood outside, holding a neatly packed bag. Alexander took it from him without a word and shut the door, turning back toward her.
Lilith tilted her head, eyeing the bag lazily. "What's that?"
"Breakfast," Alexander replied, walking toward the dining table. "Go freshen up quickly."

"Breakfast," Alexander replied, walking toward the dining table. "Go freshen up quickly."
Lilith arched a brow, leaning back against the couch instead. "You're ordering me around a lot these days, Human Doll."
Alexander didn't even look at her as he started unpacking the containers. "Since you forget to take care of yourself."
Lilith smirked. "Acting like a responsible husband already?"
He glanced at her, his dark eyes unreadable. "Should I not?"
