Just then, her phone rang, and a deep smile appeared on her lips as she saw the name flashing on the screen.

"Hello!" she muttered, picking up.

"I've reached the hotel," Alexander's low voice came from the other end.

"You should rest," Lilith said, already knowing how much he overworked himself. "You might have jet lag."

"No! I just wanted to talk to you," he admitted, his voice carrying a soft sigh. "God, I already miss you."
