Chapter 43

"Feel my heartbeat; Frozen and cold. Feel my love; Broken and stern." —Valitis.

.

BELLADONNA'S POV:

I have learnt to understand the value of life, to take what seems to be forgotten into consideration, withhold pain and turn it into gain, and never give in to the slightest measure of disgrace.

A week has passed since the odd proposal Elder Victor had offered towards me. A marriage to the Man I hate more than the Fear Eaters of the Dark forests, Valitis. A creature, I must call him, who sees life as that which should be disposed at his command.

It pains me to know all these are in a reoccurance, in replay, probably to the misdeed intertwined from a pathway of my past life. Nevertheless, I have made up my mind never to hold such events with rage, or even worse, bitterness.
