What would a man do, when faced with a beast, larger than he could ever imagine.

I, Headstone gasped silently. I sure got Ryker's urgent attention, who, on the other hand controlled his breathing much more better than I or the burnt, beaten up priest could ever.

At this time, the only sounds heard were the crackling of the Carriage wood, being burnt from the exploded fire, and the eerie silence which filled our presence the instant this monstrous creature appeared.

"An Arachnoid! How can an Arachnoid attack humans," I heard Ryker's mumblings. Even as a hunter, he too had to be careful.

How we got into this situation?... My mind cannot fantom. The only thing I remembered was the jerking of the carriage, and Ryker pushing me, admist my sleep which vanished the instant I fell down, to withhold this moment; A nightmare in a lucid state.
