Chapter 4 Eye Contact

The sky grew darker, and by five or six o'clock in winter, the sun had completely set, causing the soft chiffon curtains inch by inch to rise, bringing with it a slightly chilly feeling. The woman stood silently in front of the window, suddenly stretching out her arms with a "whish" sound as she deftly pulled back the curtains on both sides, thrusting half of her body out of the window to allow the cool evening breeze to brush unchecked against her face.

She gazed at the city towering with high-rises, both strange and familiar to her, her eyes gradually showing a hint of madness, "I've waited so long, almost to the point of forgetting... and unexpectedly, today, someone actually came! A naive girl, with all her heart and soul..."
