"Da Bao's father never let me work the fields; he alone has supported the three of us," she said. "I am not an ungrateful person. You should go back and discuss this with Dad. As long as he agrees to arrange a job for Da Bao's father, we as a family will return to the city to show our filial respect to you all."
Seeing that there wasn't a single patch on her daughter's clothes, nor on Da Bao or Xiao Bao's clothes, it was evident how well the mud-legged son-in-law treated the trio.
Patches adorned his parents' clothes, however.
No wonder her daughter had grown so sensible all of a sudden, even unwilling to go back with her.
It seemed that no matter what she said, her daughter was reluctant to return to the city.
Yet she really wasn't satisfied with the son-in-law she hadn't met.
"I'll take you to your room to rest!"
Yun Xiaoxiao did not want to drag on the conversation. Carrying her mother's luggage, she headed towards the next room where Da Bao and Xiao Bao were.
