Jiang Jiu carried a backpack, disguised as a school-hating little girl, with a lollipop in her mouth. She walked slowly toward the salon district, attracting the looks of many men as she passed.
Jiang Jiu knew what they were thinking, but pretended not to notice. Instead, she focused on a well-decorated salon and pushed the door to enter.
A woman inside was smoking, and when she saw Jiang Jiu, she immediately ordered her out, "We don't do hairdressing here."
Jiang Jiu, with the lollipop in her mouth, glanced around and said, "Sister, are you hiring here? I'm not worried about the money, just need a place to sleep."
"Not hiring."
Seeing her impatient expression, Jiang Jiu reluctantly decided to leave. As she was about to exit, she saw a middle-aged man entering, his pupils dilated slightly when he saw her.
"New here?" he asked.
Jiang Jiu shrugged helplessly, "They're not hiring here."
