At the age of ten, he shyly called out "Sister Jiang," a slender, small boy obedient like a little milk dog. She imitated the adults, kissing his forehead to comfort him.

Jiang Jiu immediately interjected, "Wait a moment, I need to take a shower first. I can't stand the smell on these clothes."


Jiang Siyan grabbed her arm, "Uniform play, isn't that nice?"


Jiang Jiu immediately pulled her hand back, "Not nice at all!"


Jiang Siyan, sharp-eyed, noticed the red marks on her wrist at a glance—they were made by someone's grip.


Jiang Jiu was indifferent, "It's nothing, just got it while covering the news carelessly. Don't grab me, I'm going to shower. The smell is killing me!"


Jiang Siyan watched Jiang Jiu enter the bathroom and remained silent.


An hour later, after blowing her hair dry in the living room, Jiang Jiu returned to the bedroom, only to find it pitch-dark. Her eyes couldn't adjust quickly enough, and she instinctively reached out to find the light switch.
