Chapter 3: The Original Character is the Villainess

"....."

Damn it!

If it weren't for the fact that she was under someone else's roof and had to bow her head, she really wanted to poke a few holes in his face with her ten-centimeter high heels.

What a foul temper!

"Thank you." Wen Qiao forced a smile, used her foot to hook her high heels back to her and put them on, then looked at the man with glasses and asked, "Excuse me, where can I change clothes?"

The man with glasses said, "Out the door and to the left, the third room is prepared as your changing room."

Wen Qiao nodded, turned around to leave, and just as she was about to exit the room, she stopped again, "President Fu, your nephew is currently lying in the bathtub of the guest room on the second floor, you might want to have someone fetch him."

Since she had already been ratted out, Wen Qiao "kindly" added that last bit.

It was unclear whether it was intentional or accidental, but as Wen Qiao turned around, her hair brushed across Fu Jinghen's face, smearing it.

Fu Jinghen: "..."

The man with glasses watched his boss's darkening expression with trepidation, hurriedly closed the door after Wen Qiao left, and said, "President Fu, about young master Qi Ming...."

Fu Jinghen took out a white shirt from the closet and put it on. As he fastened the buttons, he asked, "How is he?"

"Uh...." The man with glasses hesitated for a moment, unsure how to start. "When the servant opened the door, only young master Qi Ming was in the room, lying in a bathtub full of cold water, and the bed sheets in the guest room had been cut into strips...."

When he first saw the scene in the guest room, he was startled; anyone who didn't know better would think they had entered a Syrian battlefield. The room was a mess, with a bed sheet hanging out of the window, dancing in the wind.

Fu Jinghen paused with his buttoning as he remembered the marks he had seen on Wen Qiao's neck, his eyes unreadable.

He was now somewhat at a loss about what Wen Qiao was thinking.

"Get him out and call a doctor to check on him."

How stupid to be drugged in his own house; with that kind of mind, how did he ever survive in the chaotic entertainment industry?

Fu Jinghen couldn't help but worry about his nephew's safety.

-

Wen Qiao followed the directions given by the man with glasses and found the room. After entering, she closed the door behind her and let out a deep breath of relief.

It was really killing her; she had just arrived and already encountered the big boss from the book and had her original character's actions publicly exposed.

Others transmigrated to punish the scum, but she, on the other hand, transmigrated only to send herself to ruin.

She remembered clearly, she was driving along the seaside highway with a young man she had just picked up. As they turned, a headlight from an oncoming vehicle swept over, blurring her vision temporarily. Instinctively, she raised her hand to shield her eyes, the wheel slipped, and with a "duang," her car's front collided with a tree trunk beside the road. The airbag deployed, hitting her hard enough to leave her short of breath, and then... there was Qi Ming, seething with anger, choking her by the neck.

In fact, regarding the transmigration, Wen Qiao was quite pleased; it was a kind of adventure, and among many romance novels, she had a particular affection for transmigration stories. The plots of weak or notorious women being replaced and fighting back fascinatingly thrilled her.

However, she didn't quite like this particular book, "I Got the Movie Emperor After Transmigrating."

It was the typical prince falls for Cinderella story; the male lead in the book was named Qi Ming and the female lead was Wen Shu, a beautiful and talented couple.

But in romance novels, there are always a few despicable villainesses causing trouble, driving the plot forward, and thereby closing the distance between the male and female leads.

And Wen Qiao's original character was exactly such a troublemaking villainess.
