"What's wrong? The surgery didn't go well?"
"No, the surgery went very well."
The Fisherman shook his head.
"Then why do we need to run now?"
Liu Zheng asked, puzzled.
"Nonsense, we didn't use an anesthetic, it was just toughing it out. Now that the surgery is over, it can't hold on anymore."
"What happens when it can't hold on?"
He asked.
"What happens? Look over there."
The Fisherman pointed toward the end of the sewer.
A dense blood mist was spreading this way, and the howling wind coming from farther away sounded like the wailing of ghosts and wolves.
"If you don't leave now, you'll end up becoming part of them,"
the Fisherman said.
"Goodbye."
Liu Zheng took out the Human Bone Cane, leading the charge into the sewer tunnel.
However, Dr. Nile's metal wings sprouted from his armor's back and he quickly caught up with him.
"Damn!"
Liu Zheng couldn't help but curse.
These guys were more stubborn than each other, turning a supposed escape into flying.
