Chapter 160: Aversion to the Company of Women

Tang Yan snapped back to reality and glanced at the intravenous bag before pressing the call button, soon a nurse entered to remove the needle, touching Jin Mo's forehead to check her temperature.

"The fever has gone down, be sure to eat light, keep warm, and you'll need two more injections before you're fully healed."

"Thank you," said Jin Mo.

She held her hand where the needle had been, frowning tightly.

She really disliked the feeling of being sick because as a child, her parents were always by her side when she was ill, coaxing her to take medicine and drink water, all their attention focused on her, but now there was only her grandmother, who would worry about her all night long, unable to sleep.

After the nurse left, Tang Yan considerately pulled the blanket over her, asking softly, "Are you hungry?"

Jin Mo nodded and then followed Tang Yan out to find something to eat, settling for a small diner beside the hospital.
