Zhou Shuyan's lazy voice was slightly hoarse, as if there were tiny bubbles in it, slipping into Lu Youxi's ears through the phone.
The phone was originally pressed against her ear, but Lu Youxi couldn't help but pull it away a bit; her ears were burning red and hot.
Even the slightly cooler night breeze couldn't lower the temperature on her ears.
"We're having dinner with a few friends tonight, one of them is called Shen Changze, and he's a bit younger than me," Zhou Shuyan suddenly said.
Lu Youxi was puzzled. Why was Zhou Shuyan telling her this?
Lu Youxi didn't know any of Zhou Shuyan's friends at all and had no idea who they were.
She didn't even know how many friends Zhou Shuyan had.
Then she heard Zhou Shuyan continue, "He said he recognized a 'dad' tonight."
"Pfft!" Lu Youxi couldn't help but burst into laughter, "What a filial son, does his real dad know?"
