The situation in Albuquerque is settled and Jimmy can finally return to Dallas. All the inconvenient items are stored in the warehouse; he's yet to decide how to deal with them. Justin has already been to Houston once; having him come to Albuquerque again seems a bit much.
Jimmy, dragging his suitcase, took a cab to the airport. A practiced routine of showing his credentials, filling out forms, and bringing a gun on the plane allowed him to return smoothly to Dallas, where he checked into the hotel next to the FBI's Dallas office.
The next day, Jimmy changed his clothes early in the morning and went to the FBI office, heading directly to Supervisor Lambert's office as usual.
Jimmy, holding a case file, approached Supervisor Lambert's desk, "Good morning, Supervisor Lambert. Sorry, I couldn't find a suspect for this case." After speaking, he placed the file on Lambert's desk.
Lambert looked at Jimmy and nodded, "You've been gone a while, over a month."
