His gaze flickered, as he speculated.

Bai Xiao raised his head, looking at the towering battlements on either side of the wall where several soldier statues, holding stone bows and arrows, stood stiffly in place, motionless, appearing to pose no threat at all. However, once someone invades, the next second they might suffer a thunderous blow, blasted to pieces by arrow missiles comparable to cannon shells.
"Was it these archers?"
He slightly shifted his angle, peering distantly at the white bone skull. To his astonishment, he discovered a deep and massive gash sunken in the forehead of the skull, looking as if, when the giant creature was alive, someone had fiercely hacked at its head with a ferocious battle axe, nearly splitting the skull in two!
