The Ye Family mansion in Beijing was easy to locate; Qin Tian merely hailed a cab and drove straight to the suburbs east of the city.
The area was picturesque, with clear mountains and flowing rivers, a stark contrast to the densely packed skyscrapers of Beijing.
"Sir, I can only take you this far, our regular cars aren't allowed to go any further."
At the head of a stone bridge across a small river, the taxi driver parked the car and pointed across to the other bank, saying, "That's the Ye Family of Beijing. Our ordinary cars can't drive over the bridge, otherwise, it'd end badly."
Qin Tian looked up and saw, a few hundred meters across the river, a large estate resembling a manor. It didn't appear luxurious, but its sprawling grounds were impressive.
Qin Tian said, "It's still a mile or two from here to the Ye Family. Can't you take me to their front door, master?"
