Chapter 34: Feeling the Surge of Power

Li Yu returned to Bratis and tried out his new abilities.

He summoned the Commander Onund and Deputy Commander Jude of the Black Hound Guard and blessed them with strength individually.

Both men knelt on one knee, Li Yu extended one hand on top of Onund's head, and the other hand pressed on the "Prophet Book".

The latter was a book compiled by the Sabbath practitioners of the Double Rest Sect to record Li Yu's daily words and actions, but it was not yet complete, with the latter half of the pages still blank.

Still, Li Yu decided to use it first.

Afterward, Onund placed the "Holy Sword" before his knees and made a solemn oath, willing to protect the Church with his life, adhere to its precepts, become the sharp blade in the hands of Prophet Merlin, and never betray him.

And when he finished his vow, Li Yu also spoke, "In the name of my Lord Saturday, I bestow upon thee the blessing of strength."

Li Yu proceeded in the same manner and bestowed the blessing upon Jude as well.
