The Seven Forgotten

The two-world bonded in harmony until something shook the foundation of both realms, it was when the king of the seven's son fell in love with a beautiful woman Anna, a mortal and he was sent on a mission to scout earth for some time, therefore, breaking the rule of the gods as it is said in the rule that gods are not to take wives from the mortal realm, this act made him banished from the realm of the gods, stripped off his mark and some of his powers and cast to the mortal realm as his punishment for breaking the law, so he began to dwell with the mortals and gave birth to a child half mortal half god. 

After the child was given birth to, something that had never happened in the village happened, the demons that seek and hunt the gods down were in search of the newborn child because he was special, and the only way to keep his family safe was to sacrifice himself by fighting the demons, he couldn't use this full power but he tried as he could and succeeded but got injured severely and bleed to death, leaving his beloved wife and the newborn child behind. 

In the present day, the seven have been forgotten because the connections between both worlds have been closed and now the seven are just like a myth told. 

 Ethan, half human and half good, is already 17 years old, a beautiful, tall, radiant and smart boy, he has a commanding beautiful and he is envied for his skills of cycling, sprinting and computer classes, he was the light in his section. 

Anna tried not to recall those past sad moments of his husband's death, but she couldn't move on just like that. 

It was afternoon and Anna was busy making lunch in the kitchen when she heard Ethan. 

"Mom I'm home" Ethan echoed from the door ringing the bell constantly. 

"Hold on a minute honey. Leaving chores in the kitchen beside and opening the door. 

He hugged her at the door opening, walked directly to his room, took off his uniform and jumped into the bed just wanting to relax for a while after the busy day at school when he heard a gentle voice but not knowing where it was coming from. 

"Ethan, the chosen one. 

"Ethan, the great god of the seven. 

"It's time to accept the mark. On hearing this Ethan rushed out of his room he thought it was his mom and told her what he was hearing. 

"I think it is time I tell you who you truly are," his mom said, saying "You are... 

A howler from nowhere started hitting the door to gain access to devour Ethan, his mom quickly rushed to her room opened a secret safe and brought out a book, she said with her voice trembling, 'Ethan all you need to know about yourself is here, I am not sure if I will make it alive from here, you need to save the mortal world as a god you are". 

Ethan replied crying "Mom, I don't understand what you mean, make me understand what god?" 

"Honey, you need to hide under the bed, I need to pay the sacrifice as your dad did to protect us". 

"Mom I am not leaving you". 

"Ethan just go, don't worry I will tell you to come out when it's safe". 

"Okay Mom, Ethan replied hiding under the bed in his mom's room. 

The door was open from the constant trial from the howler, tracing the footsteps in the house, while Ethan had to hide under the bed, to make a distraction Anna had to walk to Ethan's room not knowing the howler was already there, she screamed some moments later... 

Ethan, trembling, crawled out from under the bed, his voice barely a whisper. "Mom?" 

A low growl echoed through the room as the howler emerged, its eyes gleaming and its mouth dripping with blood. It stalked toward him, each step slow and deliberate. Panic seized Ethan as the creature lunged, and in a burst of terror, he screamed. 

To his shock, flames erupted from his mouth, engulfing the howler in an instant. The beast let out a shriek before disintegrating into ash. Stunned, Ethan touched his lips, expecting searing pain but there was none. 

His heart pounded as he bolted toward his mother's room. The sight that greeted him froze him in place. She lay motionless in a pool of blood.
