I saw him out of the corner of my eye as I drove. His expression was unreadable, his eyes fixed on the road. The car rolled into the road, kicking up small stones. "Thank you for sticking with me," I opened the car door and stepped out into the cold night air. He followed suit and closed the door with a clear vote.
"It was nothing," Lucien replied, his tone calm and composed.
"You're going to get hurt," I protested with a hint of concern in my voice. Lucien laughed softly, a small cry, a sound that sent chills down my body. "That's almost an insult, Corrigan."
I bit my lip, unable to meet his intense gaze. "Thanks for tonight."
As he walked away I couldn't help but look at his retreating face, my heart aching with inexplicable longing. I missed him more than I care to admit. I have lost the relationship we used to have together. Once inside, I sighed and locked the window, a mixture of excitement and fear. It's like the old things are back in my life and I don't know how to deal with it.
As if Lucien came out of my room and stood by the window. My breath caught in my throat and I couldn't believe my eyes. "Lucien?" I whispered, my voice shaking with shock. "I came back," he said, his gaze fixed on me with a quiet intensity that left me breathless.
"Why?" I managed to ask, my mind racing. He moved closer, closing the distance between us. His presence was unique and I was drowned in his gray eyes. "I heard, Corrigan," said in a low, scratchy whisper. "This relationship between us, if you don't feel it, I'll climb out of the window and we'll never see each other again. So I came to ask, did you feel it too?"I looked into his eyes, unable to form words. His lips fell on mine, a passionate kiss that ignited a burning desire within me. Heat surged through my body, and I felt my wolf, Crystal, stirring.
"Do you?" Lucien whispered against my lips, his voice a seductive promise. I nodded, my heart pounding in my chest. It was a desire I could no longer deny.
He lifted me effortlessly, and I wrapped my legs around his waist, lost in the intoxicating kiss. Lucien broke the kiss only to undo my robe's belt, allowing the lapels to fall open. His hands gripped my breasts and I gasped as he bit my lip. He carefully placed me in the middle of the bed, his fingers grasping, my body responded violently and I moaned as he sent waves of pleasure through me.
The emotions are strong and I feel a new energy in me. Lucien's kiss was like nothing I had ever experienced before. I'm very passionate and energetic, and I want to explore unknown territories. He held me and I put my legs around his waist. He quickly opened his pants and shorts and revealed his desire. I looked at him, a mixture of fear and hope.
"That..." I began, but he chuckled, kneeling on the bed.
"It'll fit perfectly," he whispered, placing open-mouthed kisses on my neck and chin. He teased my entrance, slowly entering me. The pain mingled with pleasure, and I winced. Lucien paused, his desire evident in his eyes.
He bent down to take one of my breasts in his mouth and rub it down my back. I moaned as he began to move, a slow and gentle rhythm that increased in intensity. As the room filled with our loud cries, I knew that tonight was just the beginning of a journey full of passion, hatred and love that would test the limits of our hearts and the strength of our souls.
We experienced a third climax, our bodies moving in perfect harmony. The strength of our bond took hold of us, and I could feel the strength of the bond between us with every breath we took and with each stolen kiss.
When Lucien's lips pressed against my neck, I knew what was about to happen. He shall mark me and shall be his mark. I've been waiting for this moment, I've been dreaming. He stopped, his teeth gnawing at my skin, and I stopped breathing. I wanted to feel his mark, his claim on me, to bind us together forever. But he hesitated.
"Why didn't you mark me?" I asked, confusion evident in my voice.
"I want to do this the right way," Lucien said, his gaze focused on some distant point. "We'll announce our bond tomorrow and have a proper mating ceremony.
How does that sound? I nodded, a smile forming on my lips. I moved closer to him and felt the warmth and safety of his arms.
"This is great," I muttered, happiness welling up inside me. I woke up in the morning to find Lucien's bedside empty, as if he had never been there. I remembered the night before. The day had just begun and we had just had our love story.
Little did I know that the challenges ahead and the problems we would face were far away. As our journey begins, I am excited to see where it takes us.
