The mansion's atmosphere was deceptively calm after the ghost's banishment. The flickering chandeliers now cast steady light, and the frost that had crept along the windows was gone. But Ryuto couldn't shake the unease that lingered in his chest, like the faint echoes of a storm not quite finished.
"Alright," he said, rubbing his temple as he glanced at Nina and Celeste. "That was… unexpected. But we need to figure out what just happened and why."
Nina leaned back in her chair, running a hand through her singed hair with a huff. "What's there to figure out? Creepy mansion, creepy ghost. Case closed."
Celeste shot her a sharp look, crossing her arms. "Spirits don't just materialize out of nowhere, Nina. Especially not ones that strong. Something disturbed it, or someone."
Nina rolled her eyes. "Oh, sure, let's blame me for this too. Maybe my desserts are haunted."
