Ch. 46 - Date Time Cont.

"Did I say that?" I teased.

I led Aron by the hand through a crowd of tourists and into the next area. The walls here were all glass and met at the top in a giant dome of water. Sunlight streamed down from above and down onto us below, its rays beautifully swirled by the water. We both looked up and watched as the large sea creatures glided slowly above us, uncaring and beautiful.

I stopped and leaned closer to Aron. "I wanted to tell you that I like you and I want you to be my boyfriend," I whispered.

It wasn't anything Aron hadn't heard in the past day but he still blinked quickly and turned away. "That all?" he asked.

"Do you want more?" I snaked an arm around his waist.

He shook his head with a shy smile. "No, it's enough." He gazed out into the artificial ocean. "You know, it doesn't really feel real to me," he said quietly.
