Ariana POV
She did, as Dimitri promised, sleep late.
When she woke, it was to a clatter of cups and dishes. She reached out for Dimitri on the other side of their cloud-like bed. Not there.
Sitting up, her eyes gritty from sleep and her body languid from a long wedding night, she rubbed her eyes. Her vision cleared.
Dimitri, already up and dressed in form-fitting black slacks and a white shirt, had already served up breakfast and coffee for them. Her mouth watered, and her stomach rumbled.
Hearing the sound, Dimitri turned, and gave her a heart-stopping smile. "Well. Someone's up. Late breakfast? I waited to have it with you." He grinned mischievously. "An advantage of being a vampire. But even so, I would still have waited for my wife. My queen."
"Ah, toss me a robe, please?"
He shrugged, lighter and more carefree than she'd ever seen him before. "Breakfast naked sounds good to me ... what more could a man want?"
"DIMITRI."
