*********

Sasuke was caught completely off guard when the statue suddenly fell and struck him.

He froze for a moment, his mind blank, but Naruto's urgent instructions echoed in his ears. Gritting his teeth, he grabbed the golden statue with his right arm, clutching it tightly to his chest.

The sight of the statue brought back memories of Kakashi's death, that heartbreaking moment forever etched into his mind.

But his reverie didn't last long. In the blink of an eye, a beast bomb the size of a clenched fist was already hurtling toward his chest.

By the time Sasuke noticed, it was too late.

Damn it! I can't dodge this! Move! Move, damn it!

His body refused to respond, frozen in place as if paralyzed. The black orb of destruction approached with terrifying speed, every pore on Sasuke's body bristling in alarm. The overwhelming sense of danger made his heart pound furiously.

He knew that if this attack struck him, he wouldn't survive. Yet in that moment, there was nothing he could do but watch helplessly as the beast bomb closed in.

In the next instant, it pierced through his chest. The sheer force of the explosion blasted a gaping hole in his torso.

Thud.

Sasuke collapsed, the weight of the statue still in his arms and his hand clutching the Hiramekarei. He lay motionless on the ground, his breathing shallow.

Is this... the end?

Damn it! I haven't even killed that man yet!

Regret consumed him as his vision began to blur. Summoning the last vestiges of his strength, he turned his head slightly, catching one final glimpse of Naruto. A bitter smile tugged at the corners of his lips as his consciousness faded into darkness.

Goodbye... Naruto... Sakura... Kakashi-sensei...

It's such a pity... I never finished "Battle Through the Heavens." I didn't master the Flame Technique. I haven't avenged my clan by killing Itachi...

How much time had passed? Sasuke couldn't tell. In the fog of his fading awareness, a voice—faint yet familiar—called out to him.

"Sasuke?"

"Sasuke!"

Slowly, he opened his eyes. Before him stood his parents—his father and mother, Fugaku and Mikoto Uchiha.

They looked exactly as they had during his childhood, their youthful faces untouched by time.

He realized he was in a room. It was strikingly familiar, resembling the home he had lived in as a child.

Fugaku's expression remained stoic, his eyes calm despite his son's sudden appearance. This wasn't the first time someone from the world of the living had appeared in the Pure Land. After all, Kakashi had been here recently, chatting about random topics like it was a casual visit. The man had even assumed he was dreaming the whole time.

Fugaku reasoned that this might be some new technique that allowed the living to momentarily visit the Pure Land. So, seeing Sasuke now wasn't as shocking as it might have been otherwise.

"Father! Mother!"

Sasuke's emotions erupted in a flood as he rushed to them, tears streaming uncontrollably down his cheeks. He forgot everything—his pain, his hatred, his thirst for power. At this moment, all he wanted was to be a son again, to pour out years of suppressed sorrow and grievances to his parents.

Mikoto's heart ached seeing her son like this. She stepped forward, cradling his head gently, her soft voice soothing him.

"Sasuke... It's been so hard on you all these years, hasn't it?"

"Mom... I..."

As mother and son shared a tender moment, Fugaku remained stern-faced, his arms crossed over his chest. His expression darkened as memories of Kakashi's last visit resurfaced.

The stories that man told...

Sasuke selling off the clan's properties to fund ninja tools?! Reading indecent books borrowed from the Fourth Hokage's son?!

The very thought made Fugaku's blood boil, even in the Pure Land.

"Hmph!" He snorted, breaking the moment.

"You dare to cry now? Sasuke, I know everything about you and Naruto."

Sasuke froze, his tears halting abruptly. His eyes widened in shock, his mind reeling.

What?!

They know... about me and Naruto?

The memory of Naruto forcing him into a maid outfit—complete with a JK-style uniform—flashed through his mind.

No! Don't tell me they know about that?!

His face turned ashen at the thought. If his parents knew about his crossdressing escapades, he'd rather die again than face them.

But how? Only Team 7 was supposed to know!

Then it hit him.

Kakashi.

That man had died and returned once before.

He must've told them!

"You better start talking," Fugaku demanded, his tone severe. "Whose idea was it? Yours or Naruto's? And why?! You're still so young, Sasuke. How could you have strayed so far?!"

Fugaku's voice carried both anger and deep disappointment.

"Father, I—"

"You what?! Cat got your tongue?!"

Cornered and sweating bullets, Sasuke struggled to find words. His father's intense glare bore down on him. If he had to confess, so be it! He had worn that outfit for power—for the sake of unlocking the Mangekyo Sharingan!

Clenching his teeth, Sasuke steeled himself. But before he could explain, Fugaku spoke again.

"You sold the clan's properties... and for what?!"

"What?!"

Both father and son stared at each other, stunned.

Mikoto, meanwhile, covered her mouth in disbelief. She had been shocked enough when Kakashi told them Sasuke spent so much time with Naruto. But hearing this—her youngest son wearing women's clothing for power—was beyond her comprehension.

What has the world come to?!

Fugaku's head buzzed, his rage boiling over.

"Uchiha Sasuke! How dare you disgrace the clan's name like this! You've truly brought shame to the Uchiha!"

He grabbed a massive iron rod, his anger spilling out as he called for the rest of the clan.

"Bring him here! Tie him up! This boy needs to be taught a lesson about the Uchiha family rules!"

Hearing his bellowing, countless Uchiha spirits began pouring into the room, their Sharingans flaring with righteous fury.

Before Sasuke could even react, his spiritual form started to blur. Just as the clan members lunged at him, he vanished into thin air.

When Sasuke opened his eyes again, he was back under the vast blue sky. The sounds of battle echoed in his ears.

"What... just happened?"

Rising to his feet, his body trembled slightly. His right arm felt heavy, and the statue he had held so tightly had crumbled into dust.

Piecing it all together, Sasuke realized what had happened.

It had to be Naruto's doing. That blond idiot must have thrown the statue to bring him back to life.

"Damn that white-haired clown!" Sasuke cursed.

If it weren't for Kakashi, his secret would never have reached his parents.

This is all your fault, Kakashi!
