Valen stepped forward, his cold eyes fixed on Kael and Eiran.
His presence was suffocating, his aura of dark magic oppressive.
"You've come a long way just to die here, Kael," Valen sneered. "And you brought your pet mage with you. How convenient."
Eiran's hand twitched, ready to cast a spell, but Valen raised a hand, and the air around them thickened with dark energy, stifling Eiran's magic.
"I know what you're trying to do," Valen continued, his voice dripping with malice.
"But you can't stop what's coming. The curse on your family is just the beginning. It's part of something much larger—something you're too blind to see."
Kael's blood ran cold. "What are you talking about?"Valen chuckled darkly.
"The curse is a key, Kael. A key to unlocking a power greater than anything you've ever imagined. And once I have it, Norvayne will fall. You will fall."
Kael's grip tightened on his sword, but before he could react, Valen flicked his wrist, and a wave of dark energy slammed into him, sending him crashing to the ground.
Eiran tried to fight back, but Valen's magic was too strong. With a flick of his hand, he sent Eiran sprawling beside Kael."You've already lost," Valen said, his voice echoing in the dark.
"The curse will consume you both."As darkness closed in around them, Kael felt his strength slipping away.
But just before he blacked out, he heard Eiran's voice, weak but determined.
"We're not finished yet."
