Time and Timelessness

The future is both real and unreal.

Elaboration: You plan, you dream, you fear the future as if it were already written—but the Mad Mage knows that the future is both real and unreal, a phantom that takes shape only when it arrives. You live as though the future is solid, yet it remains a mere possibility, a collection of choices not yet made. To understand this paradox is to free yourself from the tyranny of what has not yet come.

 Reflection:

How much of your life is shaped by concerns about the future? Reflect on how the future exists only in your mind until it becomes the present. How might letting go of attachment to the future allow you to live more fully in the now?
