Silence and Sound—The Language of the Soul

To listen is to speak without words.

Elaboration: Many think that communication requires speech, but the Mad Mage learned that true communication is found in listening. To listen deeply, without interruption, is to speak the language of the soul, to tell the other that they are seen, heard, and understood. In listening, you are already speaking, for you are saying, "You matter." To listen is to communicate in the most profound way.

 Reflection:

Reflect on the power of deep listening in your relationships. How might listening without the need to speak allow others to feel heard and valued? How does listening itself become a form of communication?
