The encounter with the Keeper lingered in their minds as the group walked deeper into the forest. The morning light had grown brighter, casting long shadows as it filtered through the trees, but somehow, the warmth of the sun felt distant, almost cold. Each of them wore a different expression, but the determination they shared was unmistakable.
Lila broke the silence. "So… what does it mean, to 'carry the light into the darkness'? Was the Keeper talking about the labyrinth?"
Luke shook his head slowly. "I don't think it's just about the labyrinth. I think it's about us and this journey we've chosen. Maybe it's a warning, or maybe it's a challenge. Either way, the Keeper made it clear: we have to be together in this."
Ava gave him a sidelong glance, raising an eyebrow. "Does that mean we have some sort of power? I don't feel any different." She held up her hands, almost as if expecting them to glow.
