"Why does it have to be lean, riel??"
Narra couldn't accept everything that had happened to her younger sister.
A form of sexual violence against minors is the cruelest thing compared to death in Narra's view today.
He felt his hatred arise because of the man who had destroyed his little brother's future. He had a curiosity about someone who had done such a cruel thing to his little brother.
"Who would have the heart to do that to lean, riel?"
Efriel nodded his head, in response he had not been told who had done this.
"The doctor on duty said the police were on their way here."
"Maybe we can find out who the perpetrator is from the police later."
Narra couldn't stop crying at this time, especially when she again saw Lean who was still lying unconscious on the patient's bed.
He sat beside Lean's bed and held one of Lean's palms, rubbing it gently.
"I can't imagine your fear when that cruel person forced you...".
Narra said in her heart, while continuing to look at Lean's face with her tears continuing to fall.
"You screamed for help, but I couldn't help at all..."
His own words were like a sharp knife that hurt his feelings at this moment.
Huge guilt because he couldn't take care of the only family who was beside him.
"Excuse me... "
Narra buried her face on the side of the bed where Lean lay crying non-stop.
It makes him suffocated because the pain and hatred are so great right now.
"Ra, the police have come"
Efriel rubbed Narra's shoulder, who was still crying.
Narra raised her face and turned her gaze towards the door of the room where Lean was receiving treatment.
There were three police officers, two of whom were female police officers, who were waiting for Narra's willingness to talk to them.
"When you are ready, they will ask to talk to you outside the room," said Efriel.
"Yes"
Narra got up from her seat wiping her tears now, she had thought calmly and felt that crying would never tell him the answer he really wanted to know.
He walked over to the three policemen who had already left the room, followed by Narra.
"Sorry, we discussed this with the victim's family beforehand."
Narra just nodded her head and was prepared to listen to everything the police would tell her about lean.
"Sister Lean will be under our care until she regains consciousness and gives us a statement."
"Based on witnesses at the scene from the victim's co-workers, we found..."
"The victim's co-worker?" Narra interrupted.
He turned to Efriel to show something odd about the police's words.
"Sorry, sir," Efriel tried to take over and replace Narra in talking to the police.
"My younger brother, Lean, was the victim of harassment. So the victim witness you mean is Lean?"
"No "
The answer from the police made Narra and Efriel look at each other and show the same confused reaction.
"The victim was named the janitor at the motel that Lean's sister went to."
"We recovered a fruit knife that Lean's sister used to stab the victim."
"Because sister lean is still unconscious, we will continue the examination process after sister lean is conscious"
"But the victim is here, sir," Narra felt unable to accept what the police had explained earlier.
Especially the words that said that his younger brother killed someone with a knife.
Narra knew very well that her little sister could never hurt anyone, in fact she was very afraid of holding a knife because of Lean's childhood trauma, when he had received injuries from playing with a knife.
"We also haven't named Miss Lean as a suspect, because we will first match the fingerprints on the knife with Miss Lean's fingerprints."
"And regarding the coercion that happened to Miss Lean, the motel clerk said that Miss Lean came with a man without any visible coercion."
"Can that be seen from the surveillance camera?" Efriel quickly asked.
"Unfortunately, it is a small inn that does not have an establishment permit for an inn because there is minimal supervision and security. They don't install surveillance cameras, and they only write the names of visitors in the guest book."
"Who is Lean going with?" Then Narra asked.
"Someone named Jay"
"You know Lean's friend named Jay?" Efriel spoke quietly to Narra.
He gave an answer with a shake of his head, but tried to recall the friends Lean often talked about
Among Lean's stories, he never heard Jay's name, because Lean always told him everything, including when Lean talked about his crush on his friend Efriel.
"So we will ask again and investigate after Lean is aware"
"Thank you for cooperating well today"
Narra was still looking at the three officers walking away from her while continuing to laugh in her heart about the strange ridiculousness she had just heard.
"Lean is the victim, Riel. Why did they seem to say that Lean was the suspect?"
"He can never hold a knife, riel!"
"And she only has one boy she likes, Riel."
Narra just kept talking, not accepting everything the three policemen had said.
"He said that he fell in love with you for the first time, Riel."
Narra couldn't hold back her tears anymore, she increasingly felt that her life was unfair.
Efriel, who was mentioned by name, felt Narra's sadness, he had considered Lean like his own little brother but now Narra was telling Lean about his feelings for him so Efriel wouldn't say anything.
"Lean's future is ruined, and he will get the punishment he didn't do!"
Narra entered the room followed by Efriel who saw Narra approaching Lean who was not yet conscious.
"You can't possibly do that," said Narra while continuing to look at Lean.
"I will set you free"
Efriel frowned at Narra who looked strange.
"Narra, what do you want to do!"
He was surprised to see Narra taking a pillow while continuing to look at Lean who was lying down.
"No, Narra!"
Efriel tries to stop Narra's reckless actions now.
