"Who gave this to you?" Sir Cace asked in a neutral tone as he fetched me from the booth. He noticed me staring at the envelope. I was about to tear it up, even though the check inside was worth ten million. My feelings aren't that cheap. I'll just take the risk, ensuring I'll be the winner in the end. 


I released a sigh before smiling. It's lunch break now, and I'm alone at the booth as my companions have headed to the cafeteria. Some have even gone home to eat. I stayed back because a few customers were still coming to buy from us. 


"Have you eaten?" I asked that made him clenched his jaw. 


"I'll eat once you tell me who gave this to you." He said while tearing up the check. Well, obviously, it was from his mother. His mother's signature was on the check. Maybe he just really wanted to know who gave it to me. 


I released another sigh. "Are you serious about me? Were you serious when you told me you love me?"
