Chapter.02 Wolf's Attack

Fifteen hours passed, and without realizing it, Janne finally arrived in Rastenburg, Poland. However, when she started to pass through a forest area, her car suddenly broke down in the middle of the road and one of the tires went flat. It was already ten o'clock in the evening. The streets are starting to look quiet, only the wind is blowing through your ribs.

"Oh my God... there is something, I just arrived in Poland, my car broke down, and my front tire was also flat, how could there be a car repair shop here, I just came to Poland this time, hmm but it looks like I have a tent in the car, at least I just put up a tent in a forest area, this is my car. Just leave it here for a while, tomorrow morning I'll look for help," said Janne when her car broke down in a forest area.

Janne then entered the forest area to rest while waiting for morning. She brought a tent and an electric lamp, to be used in the tent later.

"Hmm... well, like it or not, I have to spend the night here first, hopefully nothing happens," said Janne while setting up the tent in the forest area.

When she had just put up her tent, suddenly she heard a sound like someone was walking. Janne, who at that time didn't have time to bring weapons, looked a little panicked. A large wolf was seen approaching Janne.

"Oh God, wolf, hey... get away from me, I don't have the slightest intention of destroying this forest, I just want to spend the night until tomorrow I can find help, please don't disturb me."

However, the wild wolf still approached Janne, who was increasingly panicking, because she didn't have any weapons with her. When the wolf was about to pounce on Janne, suddenly Jacob, disguised as Jason, came to save Janne from the wolf's attack.

Jacob disguised as Jason hits the wild wolf

"Ja... is that Jason?" Janne asked while shedding tears

"Hey... are you okay? Jacob asked while holding Janne's face

"I'm fine, how did you suddenly come here?"

"Hmm, I often cross the forest at night."

"Never mind, the most important thing is that you are safe. "I'm sorry I didn't have time to tell you, I just woke up from a coma, and I have just to go to your house tomorrow. I was saved by my friend who found me in a ravine," answered Jacob to convince Janne that he was Jason, even though he was Jacob, Jason's twin brother.

"I still believe that you're still alive Jason, I'm happy to meet you here, even though I've never known your house."

"Okay, then why did you make a tent in the forest, you know there are lots of wild wolves in this forest Janne, next time if you want to act, think more about it first, don't be careless."

"My car broke down, it's already night, I think I will spend the night in the forest, at least until morning, to ask someone or the nearest repair shop for help."

"No need, let me do it."

"What! Do you seriously want to help me ?” Janne asked curiously

"Hmm... when I was helped by my friend, I realized and when I recovered he was the one who taught me, never mind, now where are your car keys, as soon as the car starts again, I will take you home to Luxembourg."

"I want to stay the night first, Jason."

"I don't have a house anymore, I sold my house, to cover the costs of caring for me while I was in a coma." Jacob tried to distract Janne from staying at his house because the real Jason was there.

"Oh my God, then where do you live?"

"I don't have a house now, I only live in a small house owned by my friend, I rent it every month."

"Then what about your living expenses, Jason?"

"I opened a car repair business, it's not big, it's just for my activities, you don't need to worry, I still have money, you don't need to worry."

"But why do you look different now? You're a little stiffer, and not as soft as before."

"Janne, sometimes with an event, everyone can change, just get in the car, I'll check the condition of your car first."

"Okay," replied Janne with a smile.

After a few minutes, Jacob called Janne out of the car.

"Janne, come out."

"Yes Jason, what's wrong?"

"Your car just doesn't have enough radiator water, and didn't you bring replacement tires!"

"Take it in the trunk of the car."

"Yes, I'll go to the river first, get some water for now, to fill the radiator, then I'll buy radiator water at the nearest repair shop."

"It's not like you opened a workshop, why buy outside?"

"My workshop is very messy, never mind, don't ask too many questions, the most important thing is that this car comes back to life, and I'll take you home to Luxembourg, you just wait in the car, so you're safe and no longer attacked by wolves, don't ever get out of the car before I'm back."

"Okay".

When Jacob went to fetch water from the river, Janne seemed confused to see Jason's change in attitude, which was so drastic, she didn't expect the meeting with Jason, it wasn't as wonderful as before, but because her love for Jason was so great, she tried to understand Jason's change in attitude after recovering from the coma. Janne never knew that it wasn't Jason, but Jacob, Jason's twin brother.

"Jason has changed, he's not as gentle as before. I have to learn to understand his changing attitude now because I don't want to lose him a second time," said Janne as she looked at Jason who was starting to approach her carrying water in a bottle. An hour passed, and Jacob had finished repairing Janne's car. He asked Janne to start the car again, and finally, Janne's car started again.

"Hmm...yes, now you shift your seat, Janne, just let me drive."

"Okay".

Jacob started the car and turned around, heading towards Luxembourg, and taking Janne back to her house.

"Thanks, Jason."

“Thanks for what?”

"Because you have helped me twice."

"You're welcome Janne, I warn you, next time if you don't know the location and condition of the country, don't ever try to come, luckily I was passing by earlier, and heard a woman's scream, I didn't think it was you."

“Jason, can I ask you one thing?”

“What do you want to ask?”

"You look so different, whether you no longer love me, or already have another woman if there is, that's okay, I'll understand it."

"I never intended it like that, sorry if my attitude has changed towards you now, I don't know myself, since the accident, I was recovering from a coma, and suddenly my emotions were unstable, and I didn't want to talk too much, sorry if my attitude hurt you".

"Then what about our failed marriage? Should we continue, or should we postpone our wedding first?

"Hmm, we're still married, we'll get married the day after tomorrow, but I can't move to Luxembourg shortly, because I still have a lot of things to do, but if you mind, just cancel the wedding, it all depends on you," answered Jacob coldly.

Suddenly tears trickled down Janne's beautiful face, and Jacob began to feel something different when he saw Janne shed tears.

"Janne, why are you crying? I don't like seeing you cry like this," said Jacob

"You know I was so worried when your body wasn't found for two years, then after we met, you still asked whether I objected to your decision or not, I wanted to marry you, but your answer was like you no longer wanted me, it was like you didn't want me."

"Janne, please you have to understand my condition, I've just recovered from a coma, and my emotions are uncontrollable, I don't have the slightest intention to hurt you, give me time, to be able to return to how I was before, never mind, don't cry anymore," answered Jacob, who was starting to feel guilty, already covered up the truth.

After hearing Jason's alias Jacob's answer, Janne began to calm down and try to understand Jason's changed attitude.
