On the day we took over the first barony, I realised how horrible nobles really were, I had always wondered why the kids at the academy were such awful creatures and now I understood why, being raised by such vicious beings would only lead to the spawn of such disasters.

After several hours I heard a knock at my door, it was Raizel, they had finished all the work I had assigned them. It was also just sometime before moonrise.

Raizel had created a new rule for the barony with Eralt as the head of it all. Before we left I went to his office. While in the room I had thought of a way to protect the e town while I was away but the problem with the method I had come up with was that it would require me to check on it every once in a while and refill the will in it, and if I was not able to it would end up collapsing.

"As I leave I want to leave you with something," I said to Eralt and took a small ring from my pocket.
