“How about I ask my master, he could give you insight on the eighth tier before he starts preparations for the ninth tier,” Aldin said.

“What nith tier?” Lark asked bewildered.

“Strix gave my master the secret to the ninth tier, he is almost done with the preparation,” Aldin said.

“How do you know all this? And is it even possible to get to the ninth tier,” Lark asked.

“He told me when I was with him last time, and and also Strix is more powerful than any eight tier mage, so I am sure sure she has a way to overcome the eight tier,” Aldin said.

Taking in this shock Lark was unable to say anything else and just sat there as they had their meal, in silence.
